My apologies... I got you confused with philadon86.When did I say I laid claim to anything? Copy and paste it for me to see.
Right now , like me, you're speculating on what we are going to get from Dez. You want to trade him. I don't. We disagree on his immediate future. It is what it is.
Dez will be a good WR in the future but not great(which is what he is getting paid to be). The injury he sustained to his foot is very difficult to recover from and if rushed(as he did) will only lead to injury of other parts of the body through over compensation and reinjure of the original bone. That is the medical prognosis from experts, not speculation by me. Trading him while he has high value is a more prudent financial action than letting the world find out he is not the same great receiver that he once was in 2014. Once his new normal is revealed his value will drop and you will be wishing you would have gotten full value for him in a trade now. You think he will fully recover but the odds are not in his favor. You are gambling when it's just not necessary. Get full value for him now and reinvest that monies in other warranted talent.
