I thought Jethro promised he’d draft one. I was thinking it might be a mid to late round pick .

Even in 6th round Duggan from TCU was sitting there who didn’t end up going until 7th round I think .

Anyway, wonder why we didn’t live up to his claim on this?
Cooper is probably why they passed on a QB.

I dont think he ever said were drafting a QB
They didnt
They did compliment Duggar but I never heard them say they were taking a QB
I’m sure if the right guy was there at the right time they would have
Honestly this draft to me didn’t have a great deal of QB talent

His play during Prescott's absence was as pedestrian as it gets...yet Cooper didn't self-destruct while the Dallas carried the team to those four wins. Good enough to continue being QB2 for the for a couple more seasons in the FO's minds.

I'm fine with them not drafting a QB. I'd much rather have a player that would make an impact on a field than some 3rd qb that is just hogging up a roster space. We've seen Cooper Rush perform admirably as a backup qb. If Dak sucks this year, I'd much rather have us use a high pick on a QB than us wasting mid rounders when we could be shoring up our team.

LOOOL...Jerry pulled a fast one on all the Dak haters just so they could shut up until after the Draft.

The ship sails or sinks with #4. Cowboys could have taken Hooker but instead chose to stay the course. First time Jerry said no to a Hooker.

Mean to type the 'Dallas D(efense)' carried the team

The answer is simple. Managing PR is a top priority and often is dictated by their fear of losing attention, or in this case, losing fans. Jerrys proclamation of getting a QB is the same as McCarthy boosting the run game. And Stephen on them being able to go get the best player available.

Grier is clearly still in the plan--McC mentioned him in one of the recent pressers.

That said, it seems likely that they'll sign a UDFA QB of some kind. Think they've still got a few slots remaining to be filled, given Jerry's assurance that we'll have about 30 new players by the end of the weekend.

Once Rush was resigned the writing was pretty much on the wall that they wouldn't go QB early on. Later in the draft it really just comes down to who is out there and how everything falls. I'd rather them take the Deuce Vaughn's of the world instead of taking any random QB just because they feel they have to take one. Especially since the odds of another QB making the roster is pretty slim. QB 1 and QB 2 spots are taken. Dallas typically doesnt keep 3 QBs on the roster so they would need someone with potential, but not too good that they can't get them onto the practice squad for 2023.

Unfortunately he is the face and voice of Dallas Cowboys Football so as painful as it is we must continue following him while holding him as accountable as possible .
There is no way to hold him accountable and no, I will not follow him via sight or sound.

He talks to fill space and hold the floor. He also knows there isn't a reporter willing to take him on and call him on anything,

They needed every draft pick that they took more than a qb when they already have Dak, Rush, and Greer.
