Okay, who is left that could seriously have a chance to make the team and contribute? It might just be a kicker! I don't want a throw away pick or practice squad guy when you could actually find a contributor.

I can't believe the blind faith this team has in Zeke. They do realize his yards per season has decreased for 6 straight seasons....right? :banghead:

For better or worse, they are hitched to him for at least one more year. Won't be surprised if we're looking at RB early next year with Pollard and possibly Elliott gone. I'd probably try to re-sign Pollard next offseason and cut Elliott and draft a rotation replacement.

Like the Clark pick even though he may be red shirted. That is ok, the 5th to 7th round is where you do this.
However they still need to draft a LB to hopefully contribute this year. They always go into TC with like 7 LB’s on the roster. Never any competition.

Big boy Ridgeway, Jerry has to take a player from his alma mater.
Maybe he can learn to rush the passer. But for now if he can plug the middle, stop the run, this is a win.
The whole 2nd half of free agency is still ahead of us.
More likely they get help there

Dont you have to take carson strong if hes there?

Although I want a kicker, I would be against it, esp. since I don't think we'll draft a kicker.

Just said on the Draft Show, though, that he has a bad knee condition.

One thing Ill say about this draft class, I really dont feel like we wasted a pick

Round 1: No. 24 Tyler Smith, OT (Tulsa)
Round 2: No. 56 Sam Williams, DE (Ole Miss)
Round 3: No. 88 Jalen Tolbert, WR (South Alabama)
Round 4: No. 129 Jake Ferguson, TE (Wisconsin)
Round 5: No. 155 (from Browns) Matt Waletzko, OT (North Dakota)
Round 5: No. 167 DaRon Bland, CB (Fresno State)
Round 5: No. 176 Damone Clark ILB LSU
Round 5: No. 178. Rideway
Round 6: No. 193 (from Browns).....RB

But we sure reached like hell......:banghead:

1 pick left.
I hope Jerry doesn’t do something stupid and trade a 2023 6th round for a 7th round this year. Just to have a 7th round pick. Wait for them as an UDFA.

So far no dumb little trades like, that. They usually have one.

Another name.........Justyn Ross WR Clemson.....I know he's got medical......but he was great when healthy.

Some would consider three of our first four to be reaches.

But we reached for what we needed, and not all that far, so I'm okay with that.
