Not asking for that. People simply wonder how a real Cowboy fan can be so negative about everything 24/7.
It's pretty easy when there's been 26 years of nothing.

You'd trust nothing in your life that has failed every year for 26 years. Why the Cowboys?

Because you think if you don't drink the kool aid you're somehow less of a fan? Why do they have your unconditional trust? Why can't I expect them to earn my trust back? Why does that make me less of a fan in your eyes?

Just out of curiosity, when did you become a fan? I became one in either 1999 or 2000 (really didn't get into it until probably 2000, and 2001 was when I started getting entrenched as a Cowboys fan).

Early 90s right after they drafted Aikman.

I had no choice but to be a Cowboys fan. My family are Cowboys fans.

Does anyone see this kind of thread on other teams’ boards? I’m not trying to be facetious—just wondering aloud.

Tyler Smith looks like he could be very good. We also like Williams, Tolbert and Ferguson, and if Clark fully recovers, an absolute STEAL!

Blahblahblah…grass is always greener….just sayin’.

This draft was a much better draft then the last one. Outside of Parsons, what did they really get? Osa?

Funny enough, most of my family are Eagles fans, yet, somehow, I ended up being a diehard Cowboys fan. Mind you, at the time, my options were the Cowboys, Eagles, Giants (vacation in NJ), Jets (see Giants), and Broncos (John Elway was one the same plane as me, but this was found later). The Texans would join a few years later, but I was entrenched as a Cowboys fan by that point.

Dwelling on the side of trust and dwelling on the side of hope are two different things.

Osa is a pretty good player, and I like Wright. He's been playing well in camp, and I was one of the few on draft night that year that really got excited about Wright being picked.

We are cursed one in the same.

I became a fan at a time I thought we'd win every single year, because we kinda did.

The last 26 years have been very disappointing. I don't trust this organization at all to build a winner. They have to earn that trust back.

I probably have no reason to trust the organisation either. In fact, I haven't seen a championship since becoming a fan, and yes, there have been a few moments where I got tempted to switch to the Broncos. However, I just still really like the Cowboys. I prefer to stay optimistic just because, well, what else do I have?

I’ve never been to another teams fan forum. What’s it like over there ?

And our draft has potential to be good . It will mostly depend on our top 2 picks . Will they become centerpieces in our trenches for years to come or not. The others look like potential contributors. Only time will tell.

Plus, it fits my fursona well anyway as Cowboys use horses, hence the star on the face of my fursuit. In fact, especially since I have the suit, I can't change from the Cowboys with how far entrenched I am with the team.

Egirl fans are the worst kind of human being. I’ll never set foot in the city of brotherly hate again . Damn them to hell.

I’ve been to all of our rival stadiums and never experienced anything like in Philly.

I'm not fond of the team obviously, but, my family is pretty cool overall. I don't like their choice of team lol, but I'm not going to love my family any less because they're Eagles fans. That'd be taking football too seriously.

I’ve been to all of our divisional rival stadiums and never experienced anything like in Philly.

Hopefully all Egirl fans aren’t as drunken and barbaric. We had to lock some of them up .

Not from my experience. My dad is pretty cool for one thing. Also, I am friends with some Eagles fans in the fandom. We have our share of trash talk, but we're still friends.

As it happens, there's a video from the con I attended in Pittsburgh in which one of my friends whose an Eagles fan and dresses up like their mascot and I actually are looking like we're in a faceoff and blocking like we're setting up a run play. I'll have to get one of my roommates to send me the picture. It was pretty cool lol.

I was at SB XIII with Pittsburgh and their fans outnumbered us in Miami, were loud but not criminal .

So it’s not a Pennsylvania thing, it’s purely a Philly thing. And maybe it’s just the Cowboys they hate so much. IDK.

But it probably explains why some of their fans come here posing as Cowboy fans trolling our board .

So any season not ending in a super bowl is a fail? lol

A lot of fails every year for the whole league.
