Obviously, or they wouldn't play the game. However, just because we didn't make it to the SB doesn't mean it was a waste or that we should've just tanked. I think there are positives to be pulled from the season that can be used to make this season more successful. For example, we had a much better defence. Night and day better. We dominated our division, which was the only division, besides the NFC West, to have more than one playoff team. Sometimes, the playoffs come down to luck, and it also comes down to outperforming the other side. The bad luck was that Dak got hurt against the Pats, and the injury clearly affected him. The bad play was that we lost to the 49ers. In fairness to them, they beat the Packers at Lambeau and gave the Rams all they could handle. So, our FO needed to find out what went wrong that was correctable and fix it. Hopefully, they found the issues and fixed them. We will find out this season if they did.
