DWARE with a nasty attitude= Charles Haley.
It saddens me to say what I just posted about Demarcus. Man is a HOF'er. I just think how frikkin scary he might have been with a Ray Lewis attitiude
Most of them seem to be smart players also.
Or a Charles Haley attitude
Liking the draft. I know we missed on a safety but it wasn't a deep draft for that position
We all saw Seattle's Super Bowl win. It was a thing of utter beauty. Not only did they demolish the greatest offense of all time, they made it look easy. And the attitude they displayed when doing it was great: Swagger. Confidence. Nastiness. Boa****lness. It was such a glorious sight when Denver, a rather finesse team walks in with their passing, and their Welkers, and their complexity, and Seattle just says "lol" and beats the tar out of them with physicality. Sitting amongst the biggest Denver bandwagoning family I know made it even better. "Don't worry, they'll come back! PFM will save us!"
Well he couldn't. The Legion of Boom and Seattle's bullying defense was just too much. We all remember it. And so does Jerry...
The defensive players we drafted are interesting. I'm happy with all of the picks, except Hitchens. I never got to see him play. But there's one thing they all have in common: They aren't known for being the nicest people in the world.
Take Dixon for instance, one of my favorite picks.
Of course, NFL officials won't put up with that. College officials didn't, which was made obvious by Dixon's multiple suspensions (yes, he's done stuff like that before). This dude lays the wood on people. Check out this highlight video, and you'll see what I'm talking about.
Same thing with Demarcus Lawrence. Some people complained about Demarcus Ware's "nice guy" attitude. He never really "hit" the QB, only tackled them gently.
Well don't expect to be gently pushed when Lawrence is upon you. Expect to be driven into the dirt.
Same thing with Terrance Mitchell. He's known for nastiness. So is Ben Gardner.
Last night, Dallas signed a fullback. JC Copeland from LSU. UDFA.
He likes to describe himself as The Punishment of God.
So, back to the point. Cowboys are drafting players with nastiness and attitude. It looks like they're trying to change the attitude of this team. More aggressiveness. More attitude. More nastiness. More swagger.
I wouldn't want it any other way.
Cowboys drafting for nastiness and attitude
is "nastitude" a word?
We cant help it. Except fer hockey. Something chemical happens to us. lol
I'd rather have athleticism, play making, fundamentals, inteligence and durability.
