Jinxx, there is a flaw in your numbers.

I remember the Eagles' defense scoring a safety against the Browns and an interception for a touchdown against the Commanders. I also remember the Eagles' special teams having kickoff returns for touchdowns against the Commanders and Vikings. That's 23 points plus any others I did not see.

Since they have 156 total points, that means their offense is responsible for 133 of them, which is a 22.17 points per game average.

I was using the stats and rankings from NFL Team Stats i don't think they differentiate where the points come from but according to them eagles average 26 PPG, but yes you are right they have scored a lot on D and special teams. which is why i stated those aspects are critical this week. We cannot get complacent after a score, eagles have the ability to strike quick and take back momentum. Here is the link for the stats:

I pointed it out because you said:
Offensive Rankings:

Cowboys- Pts- 26.5 (7th) - Yds 401.5 (3rd) - Pass 240.3 (19th) - Rush 161.2 (1st)
Eagles - Pts- 26.0 (9th) - Yds 322.2 (29th) - Pass 210.7 (30th) - Rush 111.5 (15th)
.. Offensive rankings .. which is not accurate for those points.

I'm worried. The Cowboys are 3-3 vs. Philly in their last 6, with the home team losing each game. Also, in the last 6, Dallas has averaged
28.83 carries for only 96.83 yards (3.36 avg per carry) vs. Philly. That's not going to cut it this week.

In Dallas's 3 wins, it was the QB play and/or the defense that won the game.
- Last year in week2, the defense shut down Kelly's offense (highlighted by Lee's pick in the endzone) and then the QBs made just enough plays
- In 2014 at Philly, Romo and Dez abused Fletcher for easy TDs
- In 2013, wind, and a beat up Nick Foles lead to a 17-3 redemption for Monte Kiffen vs. Kelly (the talk all week had been how Kelly destroyed Kiffen's D while the two were at Ore/USC).

I can see the Dallas D stepping up and continuing their bend-but-don't-break play vs. Wentz, but I worry that if they can't run, they'll have trouble on offense (like vs. NYG). Could be a battle of Kickers and the team that makes the least amount of mistakes.

Interesting how bad offensively the eagles rank. Near the bottom in a couple stats and average at best on others. Yet they average 26 points per game?

edit: nm. Counted one twice.

This isn't that same team. Dak and Zeke are winners

My favorite numbers:

Carson Wentz
First-round pick
Trade cost the Eagles two first-round picks ('16 and '17), a second ('18), a third ('16), and a fourth ('16) overall.
Contract worth $26.7 million
He was basically their whole draft (didn't have a 2nd rounder).

Dak Prescott
4th-round compensatory pick for losing Jermey Parnell before last season
No trade
Contract worth $2.7 million
Cowboys also got Zeke Elliott, Maliek Collins, and Anthony Brown, with Jaylon Smith mending, from this draft.

Last time these 2 rookies faced each other or I should say competed against each other was the 2016 Senior Bowl. While all eyes were on Wentz it was Dak who would walk away as the MVP of the game.
Music to my ears lets hope history repeats itself :)

You getting nervous? Your going to get blasted if your boy doesn't show. I guess some admiration has to come to you for trying to back your play, so good luck. Not:rolleyes:

If I was able to harness every ounce of give a crap I have and convert into a gust of wind, it wouldn't blow out a candle on a gnats' cupcake.
