If we drafted Simmons, I'd be on the phone trying to trade Steele and recoup a pick. He should have some value as a starting RT, but I'm not sure how much, especially with his price tag.

Dude was Erik Williams nasty prior to injury. With the off field issues too lol. Now the question is, do we take the risk or do we allow a team like the commies or Eagles get him? I have mixed emotions on the guy.

Dallas can't afford to be gambling with the first 3 picks in this draft. They need day 1 starters.

Cowboys FO flooding the media with several options to muddy the waters. Simmons is fun to watch, if healthy, he's a plig-n-play LT and don't even worry about him or send help. Simmons n Tyler would open running lanes all game.

IMO, the pick is Simmons, Mykel Williams, or Walker.

Nah, the inner circles between teams know what's happing before the fans do. The media has sources, and the teams have sources, nothing is really a secret.

My gut is you gotta look at value, being 12 overall then the value is in a 10 year OLine guy, if they want wideout, then better trade down.

I also find it interesting that outside of the injury concerns and character concerns no one is talking about the 5 game sample size of great tape against a cupcake schedule this year.

Simmons looked like an ascending prospect this year but he’s getting incredibly overrated IMO.

Agreed. He didn't get an opportunity to have the Georgia game that Banks had.

Small sample size, serious injury is just too much projection for me.
