Signed by Cowboys Cowboys Extend Will McClay

People didn't like the Parsons pick when it happened. People really didn't like the Tyler Smith pick. McClay and his scouts have given the team some outstanding players. Having him around is a good thing.
Now name the ones that haven't turned out so good.

Like I said, everybody hits, everybody misses.

Notice he got no reported interest from teams with a GM opening this year.

He's had a couple in the past but has turned down talking to them.

He is a Jones family flunky.
Either they know he was going nowhere or they looked at our last two drafts.

Looks like I will have to post my mock drafts earlier this year so McClay can plagiarize. Haven't posted in the last 2 years....and it shows. Gonna have to run the player personal office from my couch for this team.

"Whew!"

It's 2001 without McClay. We definitely don't want to go back to the era of Dwayne Goodrich, Tony Dixon, Quincy Carter, Willie Blade and Antonio Bryant.
I think it was Kenny Wheaton who was shocked himself when they took him in the 3rd round in 97.

That's right and when you look around the league McClay is very good.
We can't really say that because we don't know. Jerry makes the picks.

We don't fully know what information Will is or isn't giving.

The Mazi pick sealed it for him!
That didn't turn out very well, but Mazi can still contribute and we get to pick much higher this year and the draft is full of running backs and dtackles that can help us.

Thats the point.

When i look at our picks the last around 8 years we are a bad drafting team.

Is that because McClay is not good or ist that because JJ and his sun dont listen to him and overrule his choices.

But then if the latter is the case i would not stay with that kind of a frachise if i were McClay.

But he does stay and now for years. So that says a lot about the guy. So to me it seems he is a big part of the problem.
