This will be a first this season, going to be interesting watching just how do we approach this. Hell, Murray is faster than anyone on that offense. Love the challenge, and the Cards that very rare breed of cat that does play better on the road which is weird.
He is not playing on the road. He is playing at home in his house were he won 3 straight High School championships. Yep! 3 consecutive 5A state championships from 2012-2014. He was 42-0 as the starter.

Possibly the greatest high school QB that has ever played the game. Oh, he picked up a Heisman trophy at OU and the no.1 overall pick in the draft. Kyler Murray has never lost a game at AT&T/Jerry's World Stadium in high school, college, or the NFL.

Dallas Defense needs to stop that streak.

Very true, things should be different this time around, I hope.

As was suggested rough him up a little if it takes a 15 yard penalty and some big guys pushing and shoving, so be it.

May need Parsons to spy on him. Murray is so quick and shifty he can make defenders look silly.

Y'all are talking about Parsons' speed but he's not as jukey as Murray. I'd love to see a few one-on-one matchups between them and I'd have to give Murray the slight edge on paper.

Parsons hits harder than Murray.

Imagine high school kids having to deal with a QB who was the fastest HS kid in the nation.

High school years[edit]
Curtis Conway attended Hawthorne High School in Hawthorne, California and was a football and a track star. He won All-America honors as a senior quarterback. His high school quarterback coach was Dave Keller. His high school track coach was legendary coach Kye Courtney. Even though he was an All-American QB, he was more known for his exploits on the track. During that era, Hawthorne was a regular contender at the CIF California State Meet. In 1987 as a sophomore he was the anchor of the California State Record 4X100m relay team (40.24) set in the preliminaries, Hawthorne High School was DQ'd at the finals after initially finishing second. In 1988 as a junior he placed second in the 100m (10.85) and placed third 3rd in the 200m (21.30). In 1989 as a senior he won the 100m state title with the time of 10.23 and placed 2nd in the 200m (20.89).[1]

Yep, the old Bears WR.

Marcus Allen was a HS QB at Lincoln HS in San Diego.

Kyler Murray 4.4 with his low being 4.3.
Anthony Brown 4.32 with his low being 4.22.
Kelvin Joseph 4.35 with his low being 4.32
Micah Parsons 4.36 with his low being 4.32

Being able to run that fast at that size, Parsons is not human.

Hurts is a better runner than Murray. Murray's won a lot more games with his arm than his legs.

None of these numbers is to be trusted if they didn't come at the combine. Pro days and the like are essentially PR campaigns for the players. Everything is staged and fudged to paint them in the best possible light. Neither Joseph, Murray nor Parsons ran at the combine so all their numbers are more myth than fact. Brown is the only one who actually went to the combine and got his stuff recorded officially. Ironically he probably plays the slowest of the four on the field.. LOL!

But it's all relative. It's not accurate but it's not going to be huge difference in time between the three players that didn't run in the combine.

Actually the difference is monstrous. If you watch the combine telecasts when they superimpose different players' runs on top of one another you see just how big the difference can be. A tenth of a second difference between these guys at top speed is like 2-3 yards. So a guy who legitimately runs 4.3 and a guy who legitimately runs 4.4 could be separated by several feet when they get to top speed. That can easily be the difference between making a tackle or missing it.. or having a receiver be able to run under a pass or a DB having the make up speed to break it up. For what it's worth I suspect AB is probably the fastest of that group and Murray is the quickest and most nimble. But I think Parsons has the scariest "gear" of all of them. He seems to be able to hit the turbo button and move at warp speed to go get a ballcarrier sometimes.

The only speed that matters is how fast can he release the ball.

Very rare to see anyone ever actually deal with their top end speed on a football field, first off it takes a good 50ish to hit top end. We see it once in while on a long kickoff return.

Anyway...

Being about to stop, start, acelllerate, move, juke at a high rate of your Max is football. Murray has that.
