Cowboys faced a HOF QB not ready to quit on the season

GB rose to the occasion at home against their biggest rival outside of the NFC North. GB played well enough to win for the first time in the last 6 games. We all knew that GB would be very up and ready for that game. We definitely weren't and we lost with some stupid play on def, WR, and QB. Keep in mind that AR had qbr of 51.3 against the lions (at the time the worst def in the league).

Rodgers sure looked like he had plenty of time to pass all day. For a team that is known for putting the pressure on quarterbacks, I wasn’t seeing much of it……of course we all know the Packers Oline was holding like hell so that didn’t help matters either.

Many fans had already written off Rodgers and the Pack but we should know better. Some of us do.

I wasn’t a bit surprised . Should never count out a heart of a champion. The fact they’d lost 5 in a row was no reason to count them out.

And I wouldn’t write off Cowboys season either. We knew these 3 games after bye were all lose-able.

I still think we can win 11-12 games and get 5th seed.

If what you say is true, then I'd agree with you. But if I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

That game had nothing to do with Rodgers, and everything to do with not being able to stop the run. QBs like Jared Goff and Garoppolo can beat us when we can't stop the run, they don't need Rodgers.

I knew our run D was bad, I just didn't think it was that bad. All teams have to do is run the ball on first and second down against us. They're getting a first down, or have a 3rd and short. When that keeps happening it makes play action deadly.

The Eagles did it to us, the Bears, and now the Packers. I just thought the threat of the mobile QB made all the difference. But apparently not. Look for the Viking to do the exact same thing.

I'm not giving up on this season no matter what. But it's worse than what you're saying. As if Rodgers made all the difference. He did not.

Lol 70% completion, 3 tds, 0 int, 146 qbr

"Rodgers didn't play that well."

I'm starting to get the feeling that some of you guys really just see what you want to see.
Lol, Prescott had better numbers. But I bet you think he suck

We knew our run defense was bad. It’s been bottom tier ranked all season. But fans get caught up in all of the hoops with defense overall cause of higher ranking and pass rush.

The Pack was done. Rodgers had checked out and had nobody to throw the ball too. Their highly touted rookie WR was a bust. And then the Dallas Cowboys came to town, had them beat, allowed them to come back, and now the Pack are back. It was a putrid performance which is particularly concerning coming off a bye week. The Pack had lost 5 in a row and we gave them hope.

This team is going nowhere with Dak putting the ball up 46 times. He needs to play like Rodgers played yesterday. Moving the chains and picking his spots....... not giving the ball away.
That’s total BS. A champion is never done . Rodgers and Packers still have life.

We’ll see how much this loss impacts the season . But this loss doesn’t change anything for me . This team is still a WC team, nothing more.

I think 10 wins most likely
Sadly
There’s always games you unexpectedly win and lose throughout a season.

Minn, NY, Tenn and Phil are the most loseable games we have remaining. 10 or 11 wins is very doable.

Post them. It will be simple because I already posted them for you in a response I made to you in another thread
Virtually identical. So you can’t say one sucked and the other one didn’t.

What an excellent excuse for a loss. Make the other team look like they're hungry, dangerous, and more talented...even after losing 5 straight games.
Fans too often look for blame on one side instead of looking for ways to credit the other team.

Are all of our wins due to blame of our opine t or things we did well. Just saying.

But sure , two key turnovers on offense and our run defense were no doubt contributing factors to our loss.

Actually most people here knew what Rogers is capable of. We were warned.

And very few people are giving up on the season yet. One game at a time.

To me this was the last warning shot. It's not like we were going to win the division anyway. But if we lose against the Vikings too, then this season is over for me. Because even if we then make it somehow into post season we have proved yet again, that we can't compete when it matters. In that case once again we could only beat up the little guys. Or those who were once great, but are weak this season.
Yep, of course we’d have to prove ourselves . Too many fans bought into they hype while others fired warning shots. Some fans have greater insight and instincts than others.

I don’t think Rodgers played that well, we just can’t stop the damn run
He made big plays when we’re needed. And yea, the best counter punch to a pass rush is running the ball which is a huge weakness or our defense.

GB faced an average QB who was wildly inconsistent throughout the game.

Didn't take long for us to get back to throwing it 40+ times a game, did it? Even in a game we were running for 5 ypc.

Wonder whose choice it was on the last drive, on 3rd and 3, knowing we'd go for it on 4th down, to throw the ball on back to back plays? Wonder if that's why MM was throwing the headset...

Have to hand it to Dak, he managed to stick to the winning formula for 2 games before getting back to hero ball.
As usual he giveth and he taketh away.

I’ll add in that coaching matters too. Continuously throwing the ball with a 14 pt lead in the 4th qtr while the running game was having success is flat out stupid.

When brown went down, I knew we were in trouble. But that overtime drive was A disgrace. Offsides by a receiver, no holding penalty on cd lamb. Going for it on fourth down instead of kicking a field goal or putting Three holding penalties

I get the sentiment. I'm not a Dak fan. But you can't be calling people "disgusting" simply for reposting a tweet from a cowboy HOFer.
I didn't do it for that reason.
I did it because he used it in an inappropriate manner to try and insult me while willfully ignoring the past hypocrisy of those who blamed Cooper Rush for the loss to the Eagles.
