Cowboys fans hit with major price increase attending AT&T

In 2018 I took my (then) 89 year old father-in-law to a Cowboys home game at AT&T with one of my sons, brother-in-law, and nephew. It was a bad experience.

My father-in-law, a Korean War veteran, was in a wheelchair. The Cowboys website designated an area where fans who need assistance could be dropped off. We went to that exact spot, and police would not let us drop him off there.

So we had to park far away from the stadium at a rip-off price, push him nearly a half a mile in a wheelchair (in Dec), and once we got to our seats, we were not allowed to fold the wheelchair and place it behind his seat. (We were in a section where this was the last row so there was no one behind us)

An usher told me we would have to seat my FIL, take his wheelchair to “Guest Services” on a level below us, far from our seats. So this 89 year old man had to have his wheelchair put away somewhere else. To take him to the restroom, we had to go get his chair, bring it back to pick him up, take him to the RR, then return him to his seat, then return the chair to Guest Services.

It was ridiculous.

Then after the game we had to go get his chair, bring it back, walk him a half a mile back to the car in the cold. We were stuck in the poorly planned traffic pattern after the game forever.

The Cowboys did win that day, beating the Tampa Bay Bucs. But it was otherwise a ridiculously bad experience for the price, hassle and headache.

I came away with a simple two word decision about AT&T: NEVER AGAIN.
