Cowboys fans hit with major price increase attending AT&T

In 2018 I took my (then) 89 year old father-in-law to a Cowboys home game at AT&T with one of my sons, brother-in-law, and nephew. It was a bad experience.

My father-in-law, a Korean War veteran, was in a wheelchair. The Cowboys website designated an area where fans who need assistance could be dropped off. We went to that exact spot, and police would not let us drop him off there.

So we had to park far away from the stadium at a rip-off price, push him nearly a half a mile in a wheelchair (in Dec), and once we got to our seats, we were not allowed to fold the wheelchair and place it behind his seat. (We were in a section where this was the last row so there was no one behind us)

An usher told me we would have to seat my FIL, take his wheelchair to “Guest Services” on a level below us, far from our seats. So this 89 year old man had to have his wheelchair put away somewhere else. To take him to the restroom, we had to go get his chair, bring it back to pick him up, take him to the RR, then return him to his seat, then return the chair to Guest Services.

It was ridiculous.

Then after the game we had to go get his chair, bring it back, walk him a half a mile back to the car in the cold. We were then stuck in the poorly planned traffic pattern after the game for nearly an hour.

The Cowboys did win that day, beating the Tampa Bay Bucs. But it was otherwise a ridiculously bad experience for the price, hassle and headache.

I came away with a simple two word decision about AT&T: NEVER AGAIN.

It’s not about ignorance. It’s about affordability.
It's definitely about ignorance. Someone would have to be a outright moron to pay Jerry for the pleasure of seeing the inferior product he has put on the field for 3 decades. Anyone who continues to fall for the annual okie doke deserves to be squeezed out of every penny they earn.

Sports have priced me out. I’m frivolous to a certain extent but the prices they are asking are just beyond what I’m willing to pay to watch.

The Cowboys return to the field Saturday night against the defending Super Bowl champion Seahawks , but fans planning a trip to AT&T Stadium this season could face a significantly higher bill.

A new analysis estimates that a family of four attending a Cowboys game in 2026 could spend $1,685.15 for tickets, food, drinks and parking. That’s an 18.6% increase from the estimated $1,421.31 cost in 2025.

The increase follows significant upgrades to AT&T Stadium ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup and a new long-term agreement that will keep the Cowboys in Arlington through at least 2055.

Yeah. That is what happens.

Y'all made that happen.

Own it.

And it has nothing to do with World Cup costs. That is inflation. Own it.

Wake me up, Jerry and Stephen are in my fever dream and the Cowboys Stadium is in Abu Dhabi.

Shameless.
