Zeke was used to run between the tackles to pick up tough yards on a bad team with no viable QB. Dowdle was kept fresh all season while Pollard was having to do a lot of the dirty work against fresh defenses. Pollard wasn’t nearly as good in that role and Dowdle would be even worse. If he was that good he would have gotten more carries last season. Zeke also had over 300 receiving yards on 51 catches.

Dowdle is probably the best RB on the team, but the jones boys dont like him, he doesnt have a name or star status, I doubt they even have dowdle jerseys.
And if they do they probably have not sold many of them.
Jerry is a fan 1st, 2nd he is a saleman, third he is a part time GM.

Far better odds he wouldn't be. Grades across the league varied from a 3rd to 5th depending on how he fit the scheme. He fits Zim's scheme and the Cowboys had a 3rd round grade on him.

Some people don't understand what it takes to be a real 1RB.

They "knew" underwear boy was 1RB...those stats were so impressive!
