The teams that have done so have had the players in-house for the most part, and have gathered assets a couple of years leading up to success...we aren't quite there yet but could be close IF

I can't imagine any competent DC passing over a HC position, just to come to this clown organization, only to be the next scapegoat fired within a couple of years, because the idiots in the front office can't draft quality players on the defensive side.

And it's not like they're firing them all. Quinn got a promotion and Zimmer left on his own.

It's not an ideal situation, but you can't let that force you to keep a guy who's done a terrible job like Eberflus.
