The core group DID remain in tact, though.

Amari disappears on the road, doesn't give 100%, and wasn't a team guy, didn't want to fall in line, and was a prima donna.

Loss?

The Cowboys are 6-2....
using words like Gamble and a loss is utterly ridiculous as if they know how the Jonses feel about it through their eyes..

We are 6-2 the Cowboys interest in another WR of late is simply Insurance, fact they didn't look desperate and overpay for wr before the deadline says them releasing Cooper is still about money and cap space more than anything and they used that money to build better overall team with Depth which proved itself out while Dak was out.

they might sign OBJ but will not overpay or over reach and that why they made the offseason moves was to improve the team and its depth. Coper 22mil is gone , hes gone, we are 6-2 and IMHO will eventually see our offense kick in when Dak gets to work with Lamb, Gallup, Brown, Schultz and Turpin for more than few game all together on the field.

It's an auction...If a team wanted him they'll beat the offer on the table. Everyone interested would have known what Cleveland put on the table, nobody wanted to go higher.
these cooper fans act as if we just gave away Irvin LOL ironic when he was here many complained about his inconstancy's and what not. Coper was just another solid #1 Wr nothing special, nothing great, and while hes very good hes not like we just traded away Hill or Adams and these coop fan club members somehow believe he is..

Dallas does not have a #1 wide receiver.

Would you rather have Cooper for 22 million or OBJ for 20 million?

Dallas will end up without OBJ. We will see how great the current wide receivers
are when they play San Francisco.

And YOU don’t “understand “ that the Joneses running their mouths and letting the league know that Cooper was going one way of another TANKED the trade value.

More like don’t WANT to know.
They should have kept their desire to trade him a secret while they shopped him around to every team.

We should have kept him but we lost out on it. We just gotta move on from it and learn, but with Jones we can never learn.
