You wouldn’t draft a top 10 quarterback in the third round? Tough crowd….. Guess if your not Aikman or Stauback you need not apply to be a Cowboys quarterback. Only Cowboys fans.
I wouldn’t draft another Dak

As much as I dont want to have to point this out.

Comparing a guy playing against college competition to a guy playing against NFL competition may be the most ridiculous thing I have seen on this forum.
Yeah outside of a few SEC teams they play, the rest of Tennessee's schedule, like most top 25 College football teams, are spend playing teams like Ball State, TN-Martin, and Akron. The talent gap in College Football is much larger between the best teams and the worst teams and Non Power 5 teams, than it is between the NFL's best teams and bad teams. So even when the Cowboys go against what's considered a bad NFL team, he is still dealing with tougher competition than what Hooker had to deal with.

A more accurate thing to do would be to compare Hooker's first few seasons playing in the NFL, to Dak's first few seasons playing in the NFL. (If Hooker gets an actual opportunity to be a starter for a NFL team).

Lets compare Mahomes to Bryce Young next.
Yeah, I think that was the first time I have EVER seen someone try to do that.
Low hanging fruit. Mind-numbing almost

Then to also double down on the mistake and make it seem like I am defending Dak? LOL. My lord.

With this guy's logic, Kellen Moore (and his 175 QB rating and 74% comp %) would've been a HOF NFL QB

Fwiw, I don't really have anything against Hooker, but just sayin'

This was a dumb post.

You can't compare QB ratings. They are calculated differently between the NFL and college.
ok let see Mahomes stats, college and NFL,

I don't think they are similar in any way? or wait they are almost the same, the only difference I see is in the RATE, which is obviously different as it is evaluated in the collegiate and in the NFL, in my opinion what varies a lot the performance and game of a player is the system in which he arrives, which obviously will be different from the collegiate and that is where you see the difference in the game.

It is foolish to give an opinion without first investigating,

I hope they are exploring other options in case it doesn't work out.

Several nice prospects you can get in later rounds.
