We did not go 4-12 to give up a high 2nd rounder just for an extra 3rd or extra mid-rounders. We need as many elite prospects as possible. You're not going to find that later.
This. We need to move the other way and get an extra 2nd from some team who has a guru at finding late-round talent.

Those teams had their chance to suck last year, and didn't. Now they pay the price.

I would trade down 4 spots max. I want Bullard, and I bet Baltimore does too. So I'd prefer to just stay put and take the player.

But I'd hate to miss out on one of these DL prospects. Ogbah, Billings, Robinson, Reed, Bullard, Dodd, Spence.

Those are solid prospects. Not a fan of the Bama boys, but I'd draft any of the rest. Throw Jack & Alexander in there and you'e got some serious talent left to draft for defense
KC is said to covet Alexander top of the 2nd.

I just didn't like how Cody whitehair made him quit . I don't know if that's the kind of guy I want. I would rather have Dodd but I won't be pissed with ogbah .

I haven't watched a ton of either guy but I think at worst Ogbah will be on Dodds level.

Ogbah has elite potential... Dodd is just a Dodd.

How can you say this without seeing their board? If there's a one or two clear guys, sure. But we don't know that.

Jerry's not moving back.

This day in between is an awful thing for this organization. Now he has an entire overnight to sit there and contemplate trading UP......AGAIN for the guy we had like 17th overall.

This way when that guy hits he can be the hero who went up and got him.

Nevermind all the depth/solid starters this team is missing for what moving up cost, or the fact that there's about a 65% chance a player taken around now busts.

I like Dodd, but there is something about him that gives me pause. Maybe it's because his name is so easily punned into Dud. I can't put my finger on it

I don't trust these guys to make the right pick the further they move down.

People are too in love with the idea of trading down as if all those picks work out when most of them don't.

I'd rather trade up and make sure we get Spence than trade down.

I always have pause about players who
Play along side other good players. A prime example, is the drop off in sacks Bosa had after he lost help on the other side. Good players make other players look better. Not saying Dodd isn't good but it is something to consider

Yeah he's not good enough here. He's not fast enough for an elite pick. Cowboys don't draft slow twitch guys who run a 4.9 to rush the passer. He's not even in the conversation.
