I agree. That’s why the stories about Crawford dropping weight concern me.

Yeah I agree. His value is as depth at multiple spots and right now he's needed inside.
Losing weight to be a full time End hurts that value especially since Irving & Collins can't be counted on for 16 games.
Maybe losing weight was the plan before they found out about the suspension and the broken foot? Crawford still has two months to hit the biscuits and all you can eat buffets.

Definitely not the best - but likely pretty good. For once there is actual depth to go along with the starters.

Look, I like Lawrence, Taco, Crawford & Ealy (likely the 4 active DEs on gameday - I'm hopeful by seasons' end maybe Gregory or Armstrong crack the lineup.) but are they better than Griffen & Hunter in Minny, Golden and Chandler Jones in Arizona, or Graham, Barnett, Bennett & Long in Philly? I'm not sure.
If Taco becomes a 6-8 sack guy and Lawrence is a freak like last year along with solid play from the other two they could get in the conversation- those other groups are all proven vet groups whereas Dallas' group hasn't proven itself to be as consistent yet.

I hope Dlaw proves to be worth it. Not that I have any reason to doubt the guy, it's a lot of money and I hope he proves to be worth it.
