Two things can be true at the same time. We have not had the success we could have over the last 30 years, and Diggs 100% brought this on himself. He’s had chance after chance to “play ball”, and he has made one dumb decision after another.
Not being on the plane home was the straw that broke the camel’s back. If you ask and are told no, the answer is NO. Don’t like it? Book a flight from the airport the second you land, but what you do NOT do is show up your HC by being petulant. If he didn’t know that would get him cut, he’s even more stupid than I thought.
Like I said…ten-cent head. Mama always said stupid is as stupid does.
Let's dig a little deeper:
First of all, there have been times when the team has said "yes".
Second of all, consider the circumstances. They don't play again for ten days. The team is going to be given time off. His family is in the area. It is Christmas.
This was the perfect time to say "yes". They said "no."
Why?
Again, I suspect pettiness from a source that exudes it.
