The case to be made here: Tony Pollard is about 15th in production, having split time with Ezekiel Elliott last year of course. But, Pollard has the highest YPC of any 1000 yard RB in the league last year, at 5.2 YPC. Rico Dowdle has shown growth, and is the lowest ceiling player in the group, but an all around decent player in my opinion. Deuce Vaughn will provide some highlight reel moves this year, while hopefully supporting with average pass blocking skills at best. Hunter Leupke is already an average pass blocker, and has shown versatility in both running style and receiving.

While this group does not have the pedigree that the top RB does for some other teams, the depth is probably the greatest strength, not to mention that Dallas has 4 RB's to utilize in varying ways. It's about as diverse a group as it can be, yet also very talented. I'm going to enjoy watching them this year, and think that this group outmatches any NFC East group of RB's and as the season goes on, will surprise many NFL experts, to be a top 5 overall group at RB.

I feel you could argue Pollard and Barkley being the top dog.

But Philly is the best and most well rounded. Washington is no slouch either
Philly is heavily dependent on a top two RBs that are frequently injured and are in their first year in the offense. Cowboys have a couple of rookies. Washington‘s RBs do look pretty stout, though.

Unless you've scouted the other 31 teams 2nd and 3rd string RBs, there's no way to say this with a straight face. Pollard's projected numbers don't include wear/tear and injury. Let's just pray these guys can hold on to the ball in big games and get tough yards like Zeke could near the goal line. I'm glad we finally unloaded Zeke, but pass protection and ball protection are major parts of being a RB.

What depth? Behind Pollard we have Ricky Dowdle and his 7 career carries, a rookie 6th round draft pick and an UDFA, either of which has ever played against anything but backups. I like them, I really do and I have high hopes for what with a little luck they may become but this is silly. Our depth has 7 career Carries in total and is nothing but hope and potential.

We're like the Raiders with Marcus Allen and Bo Jackson in the same backfield.

Not even close to the best in the NFL.

I don’t even know where I put them in the NFCE. It kind of depends.

Eagles have a few good ones on paper. But they are injury prone. Hurts is their best RB.
Barkley may be the best talented, but he doesn’t really do all that well against us. Maybe he does to the other teams at times.
Washington seems to have the best on paper to me, but they too never do a lot, and get injured as well. It depends on how the QB is doing also.

Pollard has proven himself, but can he carry the load. Or will they give him enough rest by keeping 4 RB if they all are active on game day. Our RB group is yet to be proven.

Not buying it. In a division with Saquan or any other premier alpha RB1, you can’t just have a bunch of random dudes hope to match up.

Deuce? Leupke? Dowdle?

These guys are no different than the RB depth on any other team.

It comes down to RB1 vs RB1 and Pollars is middle of the pack.

Dowdle needs to show me more to convince me. He just hasn’t yet, and I get he hasn’t had much of a chance. But he definitely hasn’t taken advantage of his opportunities like a lead Back should.

The rest of the group I’m good with.

Pollard is going to be great. He’ll prove to be everything most believed he should’ve been. The Lead RB. The kid is special, hope he can carry this team. Durability would be my only hesitation.

Hopefully a sizable amount of snaps go to Vaughn. To not only keep Pollard fresh, But to exploit Deuce’s skillset. The guy is about to announce himself to the NFL that he’s a real threat. He lit up top 10 programs in College. And yes.. he was too small, yet excelled, at the collegiate level also.

Hunter has stereotypical FB size, strength, and blocking. In College, He scored a ton of TDs, albeit limited playing time. There’s a smoothness to his runs and seems like if he needed to, he would carry the load.

Oh for crying out loud, why do we always have to have "the best blah blah" in the NFL? Luckily Bijan Robinson left UT or else we wouldn't even have the best RB room in the state of Texas, much less the entire NFL.

If Philly is healthy which is a bit if they have a good group. Barkley is the best in the division.

Barkley might be the best on paper but for a game I'd still take TP. It's all about how well he holds up.

Philly has a talented group but both their FAs have missed 40 games each (fact check needed)

The Jets have a really nice group if Breece heals up as well as the rookie they drafted. The Falcons are real nice at rb and I think Herbert for the Bears is under rated with Foreman there as well.
Even Washington has talent with Robinson and Gibson. Also GB has Aaron Jones and monster quads.

I just.keep going, it's tougher than I thought to pick the best rb room.
