I prefer a Dorsett/Walker comparison. We're like the Raiders with Marcus Allen and Bo Jackson in the same backfield.

Lol not even close. The case to be made here: Tony Pollard is about 15th in production, having split time with Ezekiel Elliott last year of course. But, Pollard has the highest YPC of any 1000 yard RB in the league last year, at 5.2 YPC. Rico Dowdle has shown growth, and is the lowest ceiling player in the group, but an all around decent player in my opinion. Deuce Vaughn will provide some highlight reel moves this year, while hopefully supporting with average pass blocking skills at best. Hunter Leupke is already an average pass blocker, and has shown versatility in both running style and receiving.
While this group does not have the pedigree that the top RB does for some other teams, the depth is probably the greatest strength, not to mention that Dallas has 4 RB's to utilize in varying ways. It's about as diverse a group as it can be, yet also very talented. I'm going to enjoy watching them this year, and think that this group outmatches any NFC East group of RB's and as the season goes on, will surprise many NFL experts, to be a top 5 overall group at RB.

Tough, orbit shifting three yards and a cloud of stardust.Unless you've scouted the other 31 teams 2nd and 3rd string RBs, there's no way to say this with a straight face. Pollard's projected numbers don't include wear/tear and injury. Let's just pray these guys can hold on to the ball in big games and get tough yards like Zeke could near the goal line. I'm glad we finally unloaded Zeke, but pass protection and ball protection are major parts of being a RB.
LolIf anything, this backfield will be our downfall.
THIS!You give all the touches Zeke had last year to this years group, we gain more yards.
I know that much.
don’t forget jets also have dalvin cook, That’s probably my answer. The backup there would start for 20 teamsBarkley might be the best on paper but for a game I'd still take TP. It's all about how well he holds up.
Philly has a talented group but both their FAs have missed 40 games each (fact check needed)
The Jets have a really nice group if Breece heals up as well as the rookie they drafted. The Falcons are real nice at rb and I think Herbert for the Bears is under rated with Foreman there as well.
Even Washington has talent with Robinson and Gibson. Also GB has Aaron Jones and monster quads.
I just.keep going, it's tougher than I thought to pick the best rb room.
5.2 ypc and many explosive plays not sure what your seeing but he was definitely elite last year. Not buying it. In a division with Saquan or any other premier alpha RB1, you can’t just have a bunch of random dudes hope to match up.
Deuce? Leupke? Dowdle?
These guys are no different than the RB depth on any other team.
It comes down to RB1 vs RB1 and Pollars is middle of the pack.
I'm not saying that Pollard is a big name RB1, but he has a higher YPC than the premier, pedigree, alpha Saquon Barkley. That works as a big advantage for the task of getting first downs on a regular basis. Not buying it. I do think that pass protection is a concern here, and yet, I don't know how to measure that in terms of comparing to other RB's It's not really a stat, other than an injured QB.Unless you've scouted the other 31 teams 2nd and 3rd string RBs, there's no way to say this with a straight face. One odd thing I'll say about Philly's RB room is that their #3 and #4 backs have a decent amount of game experience. I had to look this up, but they have about 250 carries combined over the last two years. Most teams don't even get their #4 back on the field.Philly is heavily dependent on a top two RBs that are frequently injured and are in their first year in the offense. Cowboys have a couple of rookies. Washington‘s RBs do look pretty stout, though.
Yep... Younger is better at the RB position, and these 2 rookies will have a really good season.Rico Dowdle has exactly seven carries in his NFL career. Deuce and Hunter have zero. So, you're saying that Pollard and a backup cast thart has seven total combined NFL carries is the best running back room in the NFCE? Wow...
