Whats going to be interesting is who the position coaches are. Parker comes from a 3-4 scheme, whereas Whitecotton comes from Saleh whose lines are more like Quinns

The Adams hire is more justified because the offense was already good and he knew the system.......but the defense?

It needs total overhaul and id rather have a top defensive coordinator with experience in a complete rebuild

Yeah but we know they aren’t overhauling. We know who the core is. A lot of the starters will be brought back. Linebacker unit minus Overshown may be the overhaul you get.

I think the guy you want wasn’t available or wanted to come here. There’s not a Dan Quinn out there.

For contrast, this was their rankings in 2023 before he got there:

31st in passing yards allowed per game
15th in yards per attempt
29th in opposing QB rating
31st in TD passes allowed

Now granted, they did improve the talent as well over those years but it's categorically false to that neither the secondary or their pass D were strengths when Parker was their DB coach.

You should seriously do your homework on Fangio...The only reason this defense looks ok is because it's packed with Georgia's national championship teams. Fangio has literally got run out of so many towns...wouldn't shock me to find out he's got a green card.

Contrary to popular belief that was a problem they had with Mike. They would ask for his option and suggestions and he had none. They embrace guys to tell them what to do. They have no idea.
