Shot told Jane Slater that Pete Carroll got him to look at McVay & Shanahan's offenses and take things they do and make em' his.
Is Michael Irvin still team barber ….?

So far I'm pleasantly surprised at the staff. I like it. We got younger and the guys we are hiring look like fits . I'm not mad
About time we finally have a coach from Kyle Shanahan's tree.
Hell, plenty of Cowboy fans are laughing...SF fans are laughing at this hire
They hated him
You could say that. But you could also say he got Bosa and company last seasonLet's be honest, this guy inherits Turpin and Aubrey. Not a lot for him to do to be successful.
How is this a positive, means no one but us thought he was worthy in 25 years.A guy who’s waited this long to become HC I’m willing to give benefit of the doubt .

Yes he has been amazingly successful. How has he been an assistant under successful HC’s like Ryan Carroll and Mike Mac if he’s a loser . He must have something on the ball. I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt see how this shakes out year one .

Well, Bryan Anger is a free agent, so he may have a different holder next year. His ST in Seattle were bottom of the league,
This may be a worse hire than Schottenheimer.
Watch Aubrey turn into Billy Cundiff
that never works,Ya know. It can't hurt to have someone on your staff with extra insight into how the head coach of a rival (who you've often met, not only in regular season, but in big playoff games) thinks. Right? Just on that point alone, I'm satisfied.
And we have seen some bad special teams units here. They can lose the game for you.You could say that. But you could also say he got Bosa and company last season
If it never worked, we sure do have a lot of people talking during the season a lot of nonsense about picking up waiver players from other teams they're going to facing in the final stretch. Dunno. How do you even measure if it works? How would one even have any hidden cameras or mics to pick up on those conversations with the new team to learn what intel was passed along that proved valuable?that never works,
You have evidence that average players don't improve somewhat over their previous performance level when rubbing elbows with guys like Sean Lee, or like Demarcus Ware, or like Zack Martin?okay it works as well as good players teaching average players THINKING they ll be better players.
That is the bumbling SF DC...oh myFantastic move.
