Someone will take the DC position. I think you’re right about HC. No way Jerry was going to show overt interest in any candidate that might sign with another team. Jerry could not handle that. None of the coveted candidates had any interest in the Cowboys so, in turn, Jerry had no interest in them. Moore probably had the temerity to tell Jerry he also wanted to talk to Jax and Nola and the conversation was over. And Moore is really not that strong a HC candidate at this point in his career.

If Trance is signed, even to a minimum compensation deal, the franchise has flatlined.

No offense, but seriously, your wording is flawed….I have lots of doubts about it. You just pulled that idea from your butt. If you’d said that about Kellen Moore, I would have said 50/50 between Dak’s friendship and Jerry’s love. But if you think this hire was because of Dak, I can’t take that seriously at all.

So they hire a known loser, that was the OC for a coach they didn’t keep, an OC that didn’t even call his own plays, an OC that had zero other job interviews. For awhile I thought this notion that jerry only cares about making money and not winning games was false, these past two seasons makes it clear as day this ownership NO LONGER CARES ABOUT WINNING!! And neither should us fans.

Yeah, harder and harder to be excited about cowboys football….find myself watching other games and kind of side rooting for other teams since I still love football in general but Jerry is making me want to dislike the Cowboys to spite him. It’s hard, I can’t just cut ties I’ve felt for 30+ years…. need to stop buying merch at least or going to games.

I stopped buying stuff 5 years ago. I don’t wear anything Cowboys related. I took all my Cowboys stuff down and boxed it up several years ago. The Cowboys came to Charlotte back to back and I didn’t go to the games. Yes I don’t miss watching games but this hiring makes me want to take the next step. I swear this must be a joke.
