And how much marketing dollars do you think Isaac Alarcon brings in that no one else from Mexico could?Marketing
He will be the first cut -- with approximately four dozen other players.Wish the kid well ........ he will be the first cut.

New NFL rule change regarding roster cutdowns -- no (mandatory) gradual reductions happening during preseason.
Teams can keep their 90-player training camp rosters until August 29th.
That will be the date when they formerlize their 53-player roster, along with doing the waiver-wire gambit to shepard coveted rookies to the practice squad (and can place 2-4 players on an "anti-poach" list).
CZers - correct me if I am wrong on the regulations.
This is why I believe more football leagues is better for the NFL and the talent pool for professional football. Guys like this need to play and the best way to do it is in a developmental league or semi pro. The NBA figured it out and the NHL has mastered it. MLB also has minor leagues for prospects.Just let him go play awhile in the USFL or something. Probably would have done him more good than sitting on the Cowboys "never going to get promoted to the active roster" list.
It probably has more to do with Solari wanting nothing to do with him.MM and Quinn have been here 3 seasons and see him daily in practice; and are just realizing that he is a better fit for the d-line?
I just don’t understand why the Cowboys are fascinated with a player who couldn’t play on the o-line and now try and find a spot on the d-line, which appears to be one of the position groups deepest in talent.
He has had several years to make the active roster on his own merits and failed; need his roster spot to someone who is deserving and has shown potential as well as the ability to develop that talent.
Just think, if someone is rich enough he or she can buy a team and become GM, whether they know anything or not. Ask the new director of analytics. Or Jerry. Meritocracy goes out the door.Meritocracy is being supplanted by optics and “other things” in almost every facet of life these days…..and it will get worse before it gets better
I never thought it would make its way into professional sports, but here we are
