The Cowboys don't beat the Eagles in common opponents. The Eagles beat the Jets, Bills, and Chicago. We lose that tie breaker. Philly 3-1 and Dallas 2-2.
The Cowboys essentially have a two game lead on the Eagles by virtue of the tie breaker. If the Cowboys beat the Eagles, gaining one game and maintaining the tie breaker it would be an almost insurmountable lead for the Eagles to overcome.
The only thing that will give me any hope is if we go 10-6 and head into the playoffs winning 4 in a row. Anything other than that and it’s one and done and i’d Rather take the higher draft pick for the new head Coach.

This post makes no sense.
First of all we don’t have a two game lead unless the Eagles lose tonight.
Second, all we did was hold serve by beating the Eagles at home. They have the opportunity to take the tiebreaker away by beating us in two weeks.
I think the Eagles will win tonight because the Giants are terrible, especially with Manning. Then they have the Skins next week while we play the Rams.
There is a good chance that the Eagles are one game up on us when we go to Philly. Beating us would clinch them the East in that scenario.
Philly doesn't necessarily have the opportunity to take away the tie breaker when we play them in 2 weeks. It all depends on what happens between now and then. If they lose another division game they will not have the tie breaker. This post makes no sense.

I think the NFCE teams are also common opponents but maybe the Eagles don’t play NFCE teams.

Like Dallas, Philly hasn't played well enough to merit that assumption. All these scenarios are moot if the Eagles don't win. The assumption is "if they win out".

True. The one thing I think favors the Eagles is that they have a better schedule simply because they don't have to play the Rams. Of course, what favors the Cowboys is that the Eagles pretty much have to win out, whereas the Cowboys could lose to the Rams and still take the division by winning the other 2 games.Agreed.
But right now the Eagles and Cowboys both control their own destiny.
