Murray didn't price out! The money that JJ gave the great players like Jed Collins, Jasper Brinkley, Andrew Gachkar, Keith Rivers, and Corey White was more than enough to keep DM , Durant, and Carter. If you add Christine Michael, Robert Turbin, Rod Smith, Joseph Randall, Michael Hill, Ben Malena, Lache Seastrunk, Gus Johnson, and Ryan Williams to that list of a great running back by committee, We could've paid Murray what he wanted and had added cap space. You seriously can't argue that we had a good RB philosophy last year. Your idea of DM being priced out doesn't hold any merit of you looking this list of guys we paid for.

 It doesn't work that way.

Murray sucked because the Eagles sucked. As did Carter and Durant. Have you ever played football? Does team chemistry mean anything to you? Even Dez and Tony said DM being gone hurt them pretty bad. We had it and JJ killed it.

My point with the Raiders was they have been to more conference championships than we have, and more Superbowls than we have, in the past 20 years. Are you older than 16? You do know they went to a SB and two championship games since 2000 don't you? I only ask your age because you seem to be over looking 2000-2002. When they were as good as anyone.

If you can't win half the games when your QB1 go's down, you'll never win anything... That has to be fixed.

Do you have a source to Dez and Romo saying Murrays departure hurt team chemistry? I hadn't heard that before.

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on...as-offers-from-4-teams-will-respond-by-monday

So it looks like Eric Weddle has offers from the Cowboys, Ravens, Steelers, and Raiders and will apparently "respond" on Monday tomorrow. Don't know if responding means he's just gonna contact the teams that offered him or if he'll actually announce who he's signing with. Really hope he decides to come here. That way we can have our 2 starting safeties (Weddle and Church) with a rotational guy (Wilcox) and then our two starting corners (Claiborne and B.Jones) and a rotational guy (Scandrick). Suddenly our secondary wouldn't look THAT bad if Weddle comes.

Wouldn't be surprised if Weddle would knock Church off roster. Church's salary has balloned to 4.25 million this season.

I think the team's RB philosophy was clearly to get by with McFadden and add a RB in the draft but they missed out on the draft picks they wanted. But that said, DeMarco cost Philly $10,000,0000 last year for 702 yards rushing. McFadden cost Dallas $1,150,000 for 1089 yards rushing. The Dallas RB philosophy was that anyone could run behind our line and they were right.

And they thought they had Thomas Rawls after the draft. They would be looking good had he not backed out and gone to seattle.

Not only were they right but they proved the running game could hold its own even with well-below-average passing game.

Dropping form 2nd to 9th didn't prove anyone right.

They just got what they paid for.

Belichick told Rodney Harrison he didn't care how well he ran in 2003 when he signed him, he just needed his leadership. He was named captain before the season started and they went on to win the next 2 Super Bowls.

FS said Raiders are going after him pretty hard, need that replacement for Woodsons leadership
