Fact is when you say "Cowboys already have 2 Morrows". No they don't they have 2 guys who have not shown nothings vs a guy who went out and had 116 tackles, 11 for losses along with an int. You could put Haper and Cox combined and they come no where close to that of Morrow.

Seen enough of this guy play.

He's adequate (yes, I know...look at all his tackles) but too early in the process to set the bar this low to court a player like this. Get 'em, but he ain't gonna blow wind up anyone's skirt.

Cowboys may not even get him I think a lot depends on Wagner and LVE. I just do not think Morrow is a bad alternative, his numbers continue to rise, each year his production has gone up. He has shown speed and ability to cover and make plays

The man started 17 games and had 116 tackles last season. He's not a star, but that's nothing to sneeze at. That would have led the Cowboys in tackles last year.
The tackles stat doesn’t mean much without context. Jaylon Smith had 154 tackles in 2020 and he was an awful player.

I loved getting Cox but I trust Quinn knows if a guy can help the team more than I trust my opinion lol
Murrow is a really good player and with Clark could be a solid upgrade over LVE and Barr. If Cox develops that’s great too

Quite frankly, I wonder if Jerry was after Roquan Smith two years ago and is mistaking this guy for Roquan. There about the same size and Double-J probably has no idea Smith is a Raven.

I agree tackles without context do not tell all but tackles for loss is a big stat when you are creating negative players for offense. Jaylon Smith just did not produce much in that area

It could tell you that he played well enough last year that he is due a higher contract than they want to pay.
Higher than they want to pay but not higher than what they just paid TJ Edwards and Tremaine Edmunds?

On the plus side, he doesn't come with a creepy family traveling on a bus.

He can tackle and play in coverage. He played every snap last year
Barr played a lot in coverage and he seems better than Barr at it. Maybe not to replace LVE so much as a guy to pair with with Clark
Wow, he literally did play 100% of snaps on defense in 2022. That is very rare.

SO they are never going to play Cox are they? i just dont get why they even drafted him.
You could ask that question about any draft pick by any team when the pick is a bust.

Jabril is an odd case. In the preseason he leads the defense in failed plays but he also is near the top in splash plays.

It's like a CB that always goes for the INT but gets burned 100 times for each INT he makes.

There is a reason that Jabril was a 4th round pick and not an early 2nd which is where half of CZ claimed he would/should be picked.

Bears just signed 2 LBs to replace him, so that tells you what they think of him.
Dan Quinn says he only judges players based on how he would use them in his scheme.
- It's a nice way of saying that he thinks other teams (college or pro) were not using the player to maximize his abilities.

True and Morrow is one of those Hybrid players Quinn tends to like. Guy has 4.5 speed came out of small college as a safety and was moved to LB in the pros.
