Cowboys interested in Bears LB Nicholas Morrow

Seen enough of this guy play.

He's adequate (yes, I know...look at all his tackles) but too early in the process to set the bar this low to court a player like this. Get 'em, but he ain't gonna blow wind up anyone's skirt.

Not for nothing but I'd be interested to see him with Quinn. He played for the Raiders then the Bears right?

I remember the sarcasm when we signed Kearse. Not saying it's the same, but the kid does have some tools.

Wow, he literally did play 100% of snaps on defense in 2022. That is very rare.
I know
Probably one of a very few LB who did it
The raiders had him playing less than half the snaps and he had 78 tackles I believe. He can play

Quite frankly, I wonder if Jerry was after Roquan Smith two years ago and is mistaking this guy for Roquan. They’re about the same size and Double-J probably has no idea Smith is a Raven.
Or they just see that he’s a player who’s improved with snaps. The kid can play

Lose LVE, Gifford and Barr. Wagner signs elsewhere…

But we get Morrow!

Seems odd as an LVE replacement but hey.
I think he'd be more of that Barr/Neal role while Clark would fill the LVE role. That would be more evidence that you can't just rely on draft picks. We thought we got a steal in Cox two years ago, but he hasn't really sniffed the field.

The man started 17 games and had 116 tackles last season. He's not a star, but that's nothing to sneeze at. That would have led the Cowboys in tackles last year.
Well without any space eating and block eating DTs......a smaller linebacker will get eaten alive in our defensive scheme!

Morrow has 4.51 speed and registers more than his share of tackles as an OLB. Not big but active, at 6'-0", 225 lbs. Good backup, if nothing else.

Undersized UDFA in 2017. Had over 100 tackles and 11 TFLs last season.
ok so someone tell me what position will he play. to me he's Roy Williams 38 Light. are we putting him at Safety in packages or does he start at WLB. very small for a LB

He plays Will. He played it well when the bears traded Smith
