I would like the player. What is odd is that he plays the weakside LB spot and likely is not big enough for the strongside.

Signing him would probably mean bye-bye to Durant or that they aren't going to draft a LB at all.

He'd a be a nice addition for the right price.

I'd be really interested to know if the plan is to play him at WILL or SAM. I also think he's got some extensive MLB experience, so he's your backup to Sean Lee too.

We have Wilbur and Holloman in that mix as well. At the very least, he could end up being a better version of Ernie Sims.

Right. Or a slightly more athletic Justin Durant. A starting lineup of Woodyard-Lee-Carter, with Holloman and Wilber as main backups seems reasonable.

A Woodyard for Durant swap tells me that Carter is moving to SAM. Woodyard can play WILL and Durant can't... so it's telling.

Would love to get him. In the Denver games I watched he really stood out kind of like Lee does for us.

Nice player... Rotational type if you ask me. Good fit for increased depth.

Rotation guy. Ok. Starter? No.

Guy had 117 tackles and 5.5 sacks in 2012... that's pretty phenomenal. He also had 3 FF's this season... 10 passes defensed over the last 2... and he'll be 28 years old in July (neither a pro nor a con). Oh and his intangibles are at a team captain level. He's a solid starting LB in my opinion.
