Who said Wilber would play WLB.

Before the Lee injury, Marinelli clearly said Wilber and Holloman at SLB with Carter and Durant at WLB.

Apparently he was taking snaps at Will in the OTA's.

Broaddus and Eatman both said Wilber has been practicing at the WILL and Carter at SLB. To me, that makes no sense.

The other reporters (Todd Archer, etc..) said Carter was as WLB and Wilber was at SLB.

Eatman is the guy that was calling out guys in the Blue-White scrimmage last year that had not been on the team in a few years.

He thought that one of the RBs in the 2013 Blue-White scrimmage was Keon Lattimore because Lattimore had that number when he was with the Cowboys 3 years ago. He did the same thing with several more players. Apparently, he had an old roster. How does a guy that works for the team make that kind of mistake.

No idea. I was shocked when I heard both of them say that. It's got to be a mistake. There's no way I can see Wilber playing the WLB. Not in this defense.

I wonder why they are so set as Holloman as a SLB. I would like to see him compete with Carter at WLB. I feel like Holloman is much better athlete than his numbers suggest.

Yeah, it sounds ridiculous, but I'm almost positive Broaddus said it, too. Heard it when I was watching the vid of the practice where Lee got hurt.

Edit, just saw it again, it's right at about the 3:00 mark.

Broaddus has been talking about it on twitter quite a bit too. It's clearly a thing, but it may just be experimental or something to get a look at during the summer. I don't know how much more it means than that.

Yes, I thought they would have him at WLB also.

They experimented with guys last year too. Just trying to find the best fits. Wilber last year moved to LB late so they didn't ever see him try the other positions.
