I wouldn't play Parsons, Diggs, Lamb or Pollard either.

I'm confident they will all make the team. There is nothing that I need to see from them to prove themselves.

If Dak, Pollard, or Parsons go down with a serious injury then you can pretty much toss this next season in the trashcan.

The won 13 games.
True, but they started off slow and with a loss during several key games they should have won. The whole team played like crap against the Buccaneers to start the season. Clearly, the starters not playing throughout the preseason affected them.

If one doesn't learn from one's mistakes, one is likely to repeat them.

I say Dak needs to play at least one series in a game, especially if he is running a new system.

So sick of this. This culture is the biggest problem with this team. New offense new players. Let’s rest the QB. Makes total sense.
:hammer: .......If this doesn't tell you how they really feel about the O-line....nothing will. Scared to play starters....sends the wrong message throughout the team.

They did learn after Romo got hurt.

I wouldn’t play a single starter a single down in these PS games that mean absolutely nothing. They used to be called “exhibition games” for a reason. Play the guys who are fighting for roster spots.

And for everyone who says starters should play a little in pre-season for timing and repetition purposes, that’s what practice is for. AND…remember- in PS games there is no game planning and very little of the playbook exposed on either side of the ball. PS games are about making roster decisions, not getting ready for the regular season.

They play 20 games. You better rest them when you can.
