Cowboys look to be drafting in their sweet spot in 2025

Moving around the draft board is irrelevant. They would just get more credit for gaining a pick before getting the player. You're just desperate to sound less idiotic.

You made a statement that was just blatantly untrue. I provided the evidence. It doesn't matter if you admit it. I prefer that you don't. It's funnier that way.

This message board is a place for fans to share their takes and opinions but this isn't a take or an opinion. It's not an opinion that the Cowboys drafted Micah as their top rated pass rusher. They told you they did. No matter how much you don't like it. No matter how much you want to pretend they were unaware of it.

They are on record proving you wrong.

And you seem really angry about it.
I'm not. I know what I know. Both about the pick and about you. Happy trolling.

With a Colts loss today the Cowboys could've risen up to the 12th pick of the draft.
Unfortunately the Giants decided to win their first home game today.

Here’s the video. Still looking for when they supposedly say “they tell you he was their #1 pressure player. Rated higher than any pass rusher that year.”

Don't get me wrong. Sometimes teams get crazy lucky in talent acquisition. The Cowboys getting Parsons at 12 and Lamb at 17 falls into that category.

Also, in both cases, the Jones tried to talk themselves out of the gift they received. Lamb was there and they still considered going with K'Lavon Chaisson and even Trevon Diggs instead. With Parsons, they were so devastated about losing out on the two Corners, they bickered amongst themselves, traded down at the last second, and ended up taking him at 12.
Seems like the Steelers, Packers, Ravens always have great prospects fall into their laps.

He thinks he made a point. Thinks he's a draft expert here.

You can do this with any team in any era.

Says they really liked Micah but traded away from him and considered trading down again.

You never trade away from a great player. Never. They, like several other NFL teams, did not quite know what Parsons was (yet).

But you know, proof.

Post some Kiper rankings so we can all know your "take" on some draft prospects.
Tell us again how the Cowboys could have lost out on Micah if this happened or that happened. Because it's a completely unique situation that's never happened before. Were they unusually lucky?

Or are you just trying to change the subject from your laughable statement now proven wrong that they didn't know he could rush the passer when they drafted him?

That stench will never leave you. I'll make sure of it.

Parsons was drafted as an off ball LBr that was a great blitzer. They had no idea he’d be an elite edge rusher. End of story.
It's true he was an off ball LBer but they knew he would be a great pass rusher. There a quote out there from Jerry that coaches and scout convinced him Parsons was more than just off ball Lber. In other words, they knew they were getting a huge impact defensive player. Remember LVE was still on the team.

Of course, they loved his blitzing ability bc he was elite at it.

No one had a clue he’d be an all pro full time DE.

That's entirely different from what the message board's furry claimed "they (Cowboys FO) tell you he was their #1 pressure player. Rated higher than any pass rusher that year" and then claimed she provided proof.

cause they are smart enough to let a good chunk of the league be bad evaluators or convince themselves they have to have someone. they are just sitting there with good evaluations waiting to feast.
