Maybe not? If we would have locked up the division like we should have weeks ago Romo wouldn't have been playing in a meaningless game on the road in the rain. Even if he did play he probably wouldn't have been playing in the second half when he got injured. Probably wishful thinking on my part though, darn!

Jerry has the perfect excuse to keep Garrett now....this is awful

Yeah, I'm not going as far as to say that Romo is being intentionally held out in order to build in an excuse not to fire Garrett...but, now that Romo is out, I think our chances of winning diminish significantly, and I don't think a loss will be held against Garrett.

Actually, if the Cowboys get blown out, there no excuse now to keep Garrett. It'll show how much Romo has to overcome...

Exactly! Not saying what the media says is gold but Ben and Skin think he'll still be fired if we lose on Sunday. I guess we'll soon find out!

Yup. That's all I'm worried about now.

I think in Jerry's mind Romo = win. So now that he's out we could lose 70-3 and still wouldn't blame Garrett.

I agree..

..no offense to Romo..

..but this really changes so much.
If Romo has a disk problem..that's going to require.surgery..

..this has enormous implications.

I can't see this team being able to wait on him and pay his salary while we have to rebuild now.

Like with Peyton Manning and his neck injuries causing him to be released from the Colts.

I think this ends the Romo era for all intents and purposes.

Look..the same thing happened to Troy in the end.

The injuries and concussions piled up and that was it.

Same thing here.

By the time Romo recovers..he'll be 34\35 years old.

Career over.

I barely fully watch the last 4 games anymore anyways.

I just watch the out outcomes and listen to the blunder afterwards.

That's whats happened to me following this team.

More like a soap opera than watching my team.

I'm just one guy. No big deal.
