Goodell is a moron. No other way to put it. Take the team that is the leagues leader in ratings and has played on Thanksgiving every year since 1966 just so some owners can be happy.

Even taking the Lions out would be stupid. They have played on Thanksgiving every year since WW2, IIRC.

It does create a competitive advantage for Dallas to always host the game. I don't care if they keep it, but they should at least have the team they play as well as the Cowboys have off the Sunday before Thanksgiving. A couple of years ago, the Bucs had to play 3 games in ten days. Monday Night, Sunday and then Thanksgiving. Not fair at all.

As far as Detroit, they should have their license revoked for being a pathetic franchise. they should lose the game just for being so bad.
