IF this is true - this is more than fair for both Dak and Coop - as they aren't top 5 at their positions. Zeke could make a case for higher pay as he is top 1-2, but he's still got 2 years left and has been an issue off the field.

I know I should have no ill feelings toward any of these players as
#1 it ain't my money.
#2 good for them
#3 it ain't my money again

BUT dang it's hard not to just the greed come out of some of the players and most importantly the agents (and yes I know it's their job, but come on man!). Hearing things like - Dak wants to be the highest paid player in the league. Coop wants to set the bar for WR salary. In what other job is it possible to be the highest paid player, when their are 1/3 of the people in the same position (QB) are just as good or better than you?

That is very generous. Only one in the top 10 at their position is zeke.

I just cannot wrap my head around these facts.

1. We have offered Dak money in the realm of Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson.

2. Dak has not accepted that offer.

I honestly don’t know which of these facts is more mind blowing.

I like Dak. I think he’s a great dude and a slightly above average QB. But this is silly.

IMO if we’re All In on Prescott then we need Elite supporting cast.

If Dak has the ability to carry us without an Elite supporting cast then we don’t need them. He hasn’t illustrated as such consistently this far.

The Ticket just mentioned that Dallas offered Zeke a deal similar to Leveon Bell's deal, and that Zeke said he won't play this year without a new deal.

That deal will get done.
Tell him to pound sand.

Top 5 pay for Coop is too much .

Zeke should just get traded .

& Pay Dak top 5 money , but not the highest paid in the NFL .

So that would mean that the Cowboys have offered Dak, over 30 mil annually, over 8 mil annually to Zeke and 16.5 to Cooper.

Blatherly-poo!
You mean $20 mil annually to Dak, correct, deck steward?
Dak is not worth $30 mil a year.
Rather, divide that $10 mil among Zeke and Byron Jones.

Let Zeke stew by himself at home.

Dak and Cooper are gambling on themselves if they turn down good offers, and I guess I’m OK with that. At least they aren’t trying to hold the team hostage.

This team had supposedly gotten past the "culture of entitlement."

There's a handful of players due contracts, but unwilling to overcome that stage.

This whole scene bears an odor that stinks, imho. It's a revolting development, if you ask me. o_O

The front office is getting intensely hard to negotiate with .

The 'nanny' years are over , it would seem . Play for a fair price , or walk .

I would beg to differ,Zeke is the best RB in the league. There isnt a RB close who can get you the tough yards and also be a good pass catcher and he is the best blocking RB too.look at some of the RBs drafted in the 1st rd,Zeke is so much better than them.

If Zeke knew the rules of civilized society and conducted himself like say, Amari or Witten, I would totally agree with you. However, he does not. He is a drunken clown off the field and he always has the spectre of a suspension hanging over him --- and the team.

That would be a take it or leave it offer from me for Dak and Amari. F 'em if they won't play for that.

Jerry isn’t letting Zeke walk. Lol
Then why start this thread, Greg? Zeke is making it clear he won't settle for #5 highest paid RB. He wants to be #1 overall highest paid, which Jerry and Stephen verified they will not do.

So which is a constant no matter what on this franchise? Answer: ownership by the Jones.

Guess who that leaves SOOL? Zeke if he refuses to accept less than top overall rb pay.

Dak and Amari have no choice but to accept top 5 position overall pay for various reasons. Zeke is the only one going to lose if he doesn't accept the same. His replacements are already on the team for this year at a minimum.

agents complicate the process. zack needed to be highest paid guard. tank highest paid de. dak, zeke, and coop all want to be highest paid. it's not the fault of the front office but for the fact they have done a good job of bringing in good talent.

Where was Zeke when it mattered the most during the playoffs at the Rams?

Agreed, too much talent is never a bad thing!! However, the only way to make it fit into the cap, is NOT to sign them all - but to trade some before you lose them for nothing. That way you have a better chance of getting good talent again - to fill those spots.

So who is it?

Byron
Zeke
Jaylon
Dak

Given we traded a 1st for Cooper, we are kinda forced to sign him it appears.
