I disagree but I would say he’s top 3. I’ll also say how many Super Bowls does AP have? How many Super Bowl winning teams since the Cowboys with Emmitt won a Super Bowl with the league’s top rushing yards back? I’ll tell you, 1. ONE, in ~25 years.
It's a bad analogy with Peterson. Who's the best QB he ever played with? Nobody. He carried those teams single-handedly.

Here's the thing. When you're passing game is great, there aren't as many yards for the RB to get. You don't need them because you're resting the 4th quarter on the sideline too often.

You mean $20 mil annually to Dak, correct, deck steward?
Dak is not worth $30 mil a year.
Rather, divide that $10 mil among Zeke and Byron Jones.

Oh I agree GTB, he isn't worth 30 IMO but, if the story is accurate, then at minimum, he has been offered 30 annually. That would be a top 5 contract for QB.

I am not the type that wants to throw big money at players, but I recall multiple games last season where Zeke was hitting the smelling salts after some big hits. The dude puts it all on the field and plays hard. He is completely justified in wanting to get paid for the effort he gives and the punishment he takes. Pay him or move to a 2-back offense where the punishment is being shared by multiple backs.

What happened to the magnificent Zeke during the playoffs at the Rams when it mattered the most and where the big boys show their worth?

POST EDIT:

Dak had a 99.2 passer rating, 83.6 QBR, passed for 266 yards with 1 passing TD and a rushing TD.

Zeke rushed for a measley 47 yards on 20 carries for an appalling 2.3 ypc average and only 1 TD.

So which player showed up to play when it mattered most?

Again with the stats. I know you don't know football when you start with the stats.

A bunch of empty meaningless stats at the end of a game doesn't mean you played well. Please pay attention. We all saw the game.

The Rams had ZERO respect for Dak. They just loaded up on Zeke. Stop him, and it's over. They were right.

They toyed with Dak like most good defenses do.

OK, then.
You may resume your courtship of me aunt Murtha.

Tell Saquon to do what Zeke has done for 3 years and stay healthy. You don't get daps for doing it one year.
If he had the O line Zeke had I’m quite sure he could handle it, he carried the ball more than Zeke in college. I guess Zeke has no concerns of staying healthy, he’s probably just lazy and sitting out training camp for the fun of it (which wouldn’t really surprise me).

Ironically, that's one of the biggest reasons owners don't want to pay big bucks to RBs. I mean, it does kinda suck but that's just the game and the position. Crazy world right?

4th and 1 at the Rams 30 yard line early in the 4th quarter. Cowboys are down by a TD. If you get the 1st down, the Cowboys likely tie the game or get a FG and get within a TD from outright taking the lead still with a quarter to be played. They give it to Zeke. What does Zeke do? Runs timidly with his head down right into the back of his Olinemen. He had 2 places (as shown in the red and blue arrows) to go with the ball to get that 1 yard for a 1st down conversion...if he either dives over the pile over the falling Zack Martin or run towards LG. Instead, he receives the ball with his head lowered, hesitates and runs into his linemen. Ugh! Where was this so called best player on the team when it mattered most? Emmitt would have definitely gotten that much needed 1 yard for a 1st down.

LOL! “Nobody”?!

I can’t remember the guys name, I’m pretty sure he was a scrub but he was the QB of the Vikings, and AP was the RB, when they beat the Cowboys in the playoffs to the tune of 34-3.

Can you tell me the name of this “nobody” QB, I can’t seem to find it anyhwere?

So you're going to sum up his career on one carry?

Let's look at the mountain of balls Dak has clanged all over stadiums across the league. LOL

Thanks and will see what's going on these cats as the season progresses.
For the record, i’m not saying any are as good as Zeke, it’s just supposed to be a deep class with lots of RB options and I don’t think we need a RB as good as Zeke to get to the big dance. He’s definitely a great option, I just don’t think the RB position, at least what he wants, is worth it.

Pay them each 15 mill a year. 5 mill more if they win the SB. If not, deduct a mill from next years salary... :) make them real triplets...

I've proven my point. Zeke is no Emmitt. He's good but he needs very good blocking and good talent around him.

One season. And ancient Farve threw that season away on the worst decision I've ever seen. They had New Orleans beaten. That looked pretty good, didn't you think? They were the best team in the NFC until Farve went brain dead for a moment.

Now, who else?

Christian Ponder? Tavaris Jackson? Gus Frerotte? Youngling Teddy Bridgewater?

No, you didn't. Emmitt is my favorite of all time, but Zeke is bigger, faster, and just as good of a blocker as Emmitt was. Emmitt never powered through people like Zeke, and he couldn't get downfield on routes like Zeke either. He just won't do it for as long as Emmitt did.
