Agreed, too much talent is never a bad thing!! However, the only way to make it fit into the cap, is NOT to sign them all - but to trade some before you lose them for nothing. That way you have a better chance of getting good talent again - to fill those spots.

So who is it?

Byron
Zeke
Jaylon
Dak

Given we traded a 1st for Cooper, we are kinda forced to sign him it appears.
that is clearly an option. good problem, but also pain in the butt problem. especially for the guy trying to make the deals. one prima donna is bad enough. three at the same time is horrific.

This team had supposedly gotten past the "culture of entitlement."

There's a handful of players due contracts, but unwilling to overcome that stage.

This whole scene bears an odor that stinks, imho. It's a revolting development, if you ask me. o_O

Well I just don't know how to react to it really, took a break thinking ahhh this should be a quiet summer Cowboywise and I got so much to do anyway...

Guess we to figure out a way to have drama.

Which one is still under contract after this season? There is your answer.

Absolutely, my friend -- always seems to be something that's guaranteed to be a sure-fired distraction from year to year! G-r-r!!

He's the best and most important player on the team. Ain't happening.
He’s also the most expendable, especially with a strong RB class next year and our O line seemingly back to top form, but yeah...not happening unfortunately.

3-5 to start the season in 2018 with Zeke. What happened?

Cooper showed up and Kellen Moore took a larger role in game planning.

Without Zeke, it wouldn't have mattered. When Dak doesn't have that threat, he's a very small quarterback.

Zeke is a once every half decade running back. Most draft classes are not that good.

Zeke is the best back since Adrian Peterson came out.

I would beg to differ,Zeke is the best RB in the league. There isnt a RB close who can get you the tough yards and also be a good pass catcher and he is the best blocking RB too.look at some of the RBs drafted in the 1st rd,Zeke is so much better than them.
Guess that’s why Barkley beats him in almost every statistical category behind a much worse O line but you’re right, “Zeke is so much better then them” I will say he’s so much better at them when it comes to fumbles, he blew Barkley and Gurley out of the water!

Agree, who are supposedly some of the top backs coming out this upcoming season. Not talking to you erod but too the poster that responded to you. I want to keep an eye out for them this college year.

Tell Saquon to do what Zeke has done for 3 years and stay healthy. You don't get daps for doing it one year.

I disagree but I would say he’s top 3. I’ll also say how many Super Bowls does AP have? How many Super Bowl winning teams since the Cowboys with Emmitt won a Super Bowl with the league’s top rushing yards back? I’ll tell you, 1. ONE, in ~25 years.

What happened to the magnificent Zeke during the playoffs at the Rams when it mattered the most and where the big boys show their worth?

POST EDIT:

Dak had a 99.2 passer rating, 83.6 QBR, passed for 266 yards with 1 passing TD and a rushing TD.

Zeke rushed for a measley 47 yards on 20 carries for an appalling 2.3 ypc average and only 1 TD.

So which player showed up to play when it mattered most?

Let Zeke walk, strong RB class next year and I trust Alf, Pollard and Weber to tote the rock this year. Bye, Felicia.
You can’t be serious if you really think those RBs gives the team any chance of winning this year. If Alf, Pollard and Weber is the RBs this season, they might as well tank the season and draft the best QB in next year’s draft so that they won’t have to pay Dak.
