Whether it's LVE, Barr, or Micha. This middle d line is just garbage. LBs look better when the are not fighting with 320 lb O linemen 3 yards across the line of scrimmage every play. And we continue to rarely get a TFL, and we still tackle like girls.

Football is a team sport. When one guy may not get the stat, he most likely helped the guy getting the stat.

LVE is a solid linebacker. If he's out, it will put more pressure on others.

LVE is their best traditional LB. Barr is trash and the Clark is inconsistent.

This is how I see it too, and I can't believe I am giving LVE credit. He has been getting better each week and had a great game last week. I do believe if he is playing some of those perimeter runs get stopped. Barr cannot get outside against speed. If LVE is out, I is time to give Cox a shot with Clark inside. Cox will not be outrun to the perimeter.

They said a neck issue which probably means hes done for the year based on his injury history. Anthony Barr is awful as a full time backer.

We've changed DC's, DT's and fellow LBs yet still suck in run defense, and he's been the one constant.

Is he the best we have this year? Perhaps, but I don't think we'll miss him that much.
