I know he's been the whipping boy around here the last few years. But if this is what the defense looks like without him we are in serious trouble.

They said a neck issue which probably means hes done for the year based on his injury history. Anthony Barr is awful as a full time backer.

People who have been disparaging LVE this season are clueless. He has been really good and basically earned a new multi-year contract.

Barr is a trash tackler and one trick pony. He's a decent pass rusher and that's about it.

LVE was starting for a reason. He knows the Defense and his assignment. Some of the other LBs on this team may be faster and a high upside but apparently arent ready. If they were they would be in the game. Any news on what happened with his neck.

Because hes soft inside and cant shed a block to save his mothers life. I didnt like the pick since we made it in the draft. But keep tryin to play the race card

He hasn’t been as good as before the injury but is a sure tackler. If there was a better LB that is ready then coaches would have them in there. I think it maybe a good idea to put Parsons back there. He comes free easier without getting hit as much going after the QB. He is getting tired.

Yep. I call balls and strikes for both sides on this crap. And I'm calling ball here.

I've been very outspoken on LVE, but I would never wish injury upon him, especially in his neck area.

That said, the Cowboys, whether he's here or not, MUST upgrade the linebacker position.

The fact of the matter is, they're sleeping in Parsons being a great MLB and have pretty much abandoned utilizing him anywhere else but the defensive line.

That has to stop. Or we will lose against the Eagles.

We need to see Micah more at LB. Less at EDGE except on obvious passing downs.

And we obviously need LVE back, which is apparently going to happen. MRI shows he just had a stinger.

I've never been down on either player like some have, but I am surprised that we seem to need them both as much as we do. Their shoes weren't supposed to be this hard to fill, especially with the depth we thought we had at their positions.

That should tell you how bad Cox is.

Obviously, some of our fellow fans were hard supporters of Cox. But he hasn't been a factor in the least this year...
