Cowboys move up to the No. 12 pick after today's loss

not even top 10 ?

mm shouldnt have let cooper rush win those games , MM should have started Trey Lance to PROPER TANK .

Incorrect, teams stack winning seasons together because winning one season translates to winning in future seasons. Just look at the past few seasons to this one. Last year meant a lot to this season’s success. Oh, oh, no moves in free agency hurt this team’s chances of being a first round sacrificial lamb to a real contender.

well given the fact that we got Parsons there a few years ago we got CD lamb at 17 we got digs in the second round I mean that's positive I guess they just gotta pick the right player who's gonna be there nobody knows one more game to go and again I'll take all the positive that I can out of this season I give Rico some credit there's some dudes that play really hard all year and it's not just about the record that was lost when we lost our major players early in the year now we have something to fall back on...its the draft

they're typically a pretty good drafting team but they need to be above average this year they need to be better than normal they need to make sure they get the right guys no reaches no projects no injury riddled players you need to go after the best players on the board and we need a lot of them so I don't see how you can miss..
Agreed, provided we just stick to a bpa strategy and not reach for a player because of need. The good news/bad news is there are likely to be some good players there at multiple positions of need.

The draft is the equivalent of drafting seven new studs.

That’s Stephens version of outsmarting the rest of the league.

The other wins really hurt our draft status we need all the help we can get. Then maybe try to get into the Manning stakes in a year or two to finally replace Dak.

Dallas is officially locked out of the top 10, probably even at #11 due to SOS. It is looking like #14 will be the pick.
No it isn't. Unless you think Dallas wins next week. If we lose we'll have to be above one of SF/AZ since they play each other next week. Indy plays Jax, so likely they win. Miami is up 13-3 on awful CLE, if they win, that puts them below us in the order. The most likely landing spot is 12th.

The only possibility of 11th would be if SF upset DET.

We’re moving into prime Jeanty territory IMO. Just looks too obvious on every level that he’ll be the pick (unless he’s gone lol)

Both SF and Indy would pick before Dallas if they end up tied due to strength of schedule. That eliminates #11 even if SF wins. Now, #12 is a real possibility but Dallas will need help.

Again, this is assuming Dallas is tied with both SF and Indy in the end.

I can see either the Browns or Raiders taking Jeanty. If not, he should fall to us.

Edit: Bears might take him too.
