Will not Colts will ha 12 th pick us 13
You are right. We needed Miami to win so we didn’t fall back to pick 14. 13 is the pick for now. If we lose next week we can move up one spot if the Colts beat the Jaguars. We can move up another spot if the 49ers beat the Lions or the Cardinals. Pick 11 is our ceiling.

People may laugh at this, but what if Travis Hunter drops. There isn’t a reason for it to happen now, but who knows what may happen from here to the combine. With the kid’s fiancé drama (with social media) and him playing two positions, he maybe a bad interview at the combine or something. Who knows.

If McCarthy is the guy and gets a new contract I’m ok with Dallas selecting big mikes QB in the first round.

If he’s gone the new guy needs to be a guy who can “fix” Dak

Either way we’re eating daks cap space at some point.

SWEET! I forgot they played. Just saw the score. Excellent game! I hope there’s another beat down coming next week!

The offense looked like last month's decomposing garbage without Lamb today. Doubt they do much better next week. Top 10 pick?

it was a terrible decision to start Cooper Rush , he won games and now we arent inside the top 10 picks .
I get it, but at the same time there are players and coaches fighting for new contracts. It's not that easy to orchestrate a tank. The only thing they could have done is trade away some players they didn't see a future with that had some trade value. Also if they wanted to extend McCarthy and tell him the goal for the rest of the season was to maximize draft position, maybe he would have approached it differently if he had some assurance.

Agreed, provided we just stick to a bpa strategy and not reach for a player because of need. The good news/bad news is there are likely to be some good players there at multiple positions of need.
and thats easy that's not a negative ...that's easy, best player available but all things equal you take the biggest need that not reach 2 great players on the boards you rake the on needed the most?...say 1st round its rb vs wr or pass rusher you so not take the rb , too easy to get one of close to equal value in the next round,..

i think it would be a mistake to take jeanty just because he's there. if the grades are cose ie equal you take the WR/Pass rusher/IDT etc bigger needs harder to find in later rounds.

100%! Jeanty looks very enticing in the 10-12 range, but this is a deep RB class. Have to consider the depth as there are probably guys that will be there in round 2 or 3 that could also make an immediate impact. Easy to like Jeanty, but someone like Caleb Johnson could fall into the 2nd round.

We’re moving into prime Jeanty territory IMO. Just looks too obvious on every level that he’ll be the pick (unless he’s gone lol)
Especially with the high likelihood of Moore becoming the HC. Coming off a record-breaking season with the Eagles, returning to Dallas as a newfound champion of the run game, Kellen brings his version of Saquon to complement his extensive Dak-friendly playbook. The story writes itself (for Jerry to pitch the 2025 season and the team's lack of actual improvement to fans)
