Cowboys move up to the No. 12 pick after today's loss

Mid pick after a disastrous season, YAAAAAY! I hope the homers are happy, that useless little winning streak was so worth it.

Currently if we only won 4 games we would still only be picking 8th. If we had only won 5 games then we would be picking 11th. After Miami beats the Browns today we will be picking 12th with 7 wins.

13TH
We would've been 12th but the Giants decided to win their first home game today.
That win cost the Giants the first overall pick . They will still get their QB though.
Good, that will leave them out of the Arch Manning sweepstakes.

Both SF and Indy would pick before Dallas if they end up tied due to strength of schedule. That eliminates #11 even if SF wins. Now, #12 is a real possibility but Dallas will need help.

Again, this is assuming Dallas is tied with both SF and Indy in the end.
No, SF has the league's highest strength of schedule. So they'd be behind us if they won. Indy plays Jax next week, they're unlikely to be tied with us.

They got Micah at 11 right?
So there's that.
They got Micah at 12, but remember Micah wasn’t drafted to be the player he is today. Micah was a projected to be a MLB. It was a fluke we got the best pass rusher in that draft.

Thinking one or two spots higher in the draft will ultimately make any difference is a way worse "homer" than being happy for some wins.

He also skipped his last ncaa season.
