The Cowboys worked out wide receiver A.J. Jenkins, a first-round pick of the San Francisco 49ers in 2012. After failing to catch a pass as a rookie, he was traded to the Kansas City Chiefs and caught 17 passes for 223 yards in two seasons there.

The Cowboys also worked out wide receivers Kris Durham, Tommy Streeter and B.J. Cunningham. Durham played for offensive coordinator Scott Linehan for two years with the Detroit Lions with his best season coming in 2013, when he caught 38 passes for 490 yards and two touchdowns. He caught four passes for 54 yards in a win against Dallas that year.

Or many they are just looking to add a body or two for camp at the posistion and for STs. Dont think there is any desperation in Dallas for anything. If there was Dallas would have Peterson in Dallas IMO. Think you might be desperate for news.

I think maybe you missed the sarcasm of this thread, LM.

Reality is fans are dense.

Dallas signed RW after a workout last year. Were they desperate or did they feel RB is a spot you can add a real talent off the street for a ow price?

WR likely much like RB. Add a cheap vet who can compete and help, especially in case of injuries.
Save draft selections for other spots.

... as a note I did catch your sarcasm so this is me agreeing.

Devin Street's Sophomore Potential
I'm really looking forward to seeing what Street has to offer the offense with his rookie year behind him. Bryan Broaddus has mentioned several times how high some coaches are on him. In fact, Derek Dooley told Broaddus that if given the chance that Terrance Williams got, he would have had similar if not better production. I've even heard some musings of letting him try kick and punt returns but don't know how plausible that is.

Dooley was very excited when the Cowboys drafted Street in 2014, but he was mainly used as a blocker last season. Realistically, almost every offensive Cowboys player was a blocker at some point with the success of the ground game. With the uncertainty surrounding Dez Bryant's contract extension, Street will get plenty of work in the offseason activities. Just for fun, I took a look at Street's SPARQ rating from the Field Gulls Blog. He was in the Top 20 of his class and had a SPARQ score 127.8, right below Pittsburgh's Martavis Bryant. If Street were in this year's class he would have ranked 13th and only 14 points off the leader Chris Conley.

Some folks tend to forget that Devin Street is Pitt's all-time leading receiver, I'm looking right at Larry Fitzgerald when I say this. Surely, there is a plan for a 6'3, 200 lbs receiver, at least I hope so.

I have to admit I did not know Street tested that well athletically.

I guess this makes xwalker a new member of the Snark Patrol.

I want to be snarky... I'm preparing my resume for the Patrol to peruse. I think I have what it takes!
I can post like Alex! You AP pod people...

Has anybody posted an AP reference in this thread yet?
I want to place a disgusted post about it.

Yes, his forty was not a wow, but all of his other measurable(s) were very good:
Devin Street
Height: 6027
Weight: 198
40 Yrd Dash: 4.50
20 Yrd Dash: 2.59
10 Yrd Dash: 1.56
225 Lb. Bench Reps:
Vertical Jump: 37
Broad Jump: 10'04"
20 Yrd Shuttle: 4.01
3-Cone Drill: 6.72

If compared to WRs at this years combine:

short shuttle: 2nd
10 yard: 6th
3-cone: 3rd for WRs at his weight or higher (9th overall)
vert: 9th
broad jump: 8th
