The Cowboys worked out wide receiver A.J. Jenkins, a first-round pick of the San Francisco 49ers in 2012. After failing to catch a pass as a rookie, he was traded to the Kansas City Chiefs and caught 17 passes for 223 yards in two seasons there.

The Cowboys also worked out wide receivers Kris Durham, Tommy Streeter and B.J. Cunningham. Durham played for offensive coordinator Scott Linehan for two years with the Detroit Lions with his best season coming in 2013, when he caught 38 passes for 490 yards and two touchdowns. He caught four passes for 54 yards in a win against Dallas that year.

Maybe they aren't sure about keeping Dez long term. No telling how that is really going. We definitely don't have anther #1 on the roster.

I think its more about putting pressure on Minnesota to trade us Peterson.

Spielman is sitting in his office thinking " uh oh, they are looking at Tommy Streeter and AJ Jenkins, I better call Jerry and make him an offer to take Peterson now before its too late"

I think since they went heavy on defense in the draft, they are trying to find 1 or 2 players other teams are over looking. The kind of guys that are desperate hungry and won't stop fighting

At least that's the way I choose to look at it lol

They also gave tthe largest signing bonus of all our UDFA's to a WR.

They must also be desperate at OL. They drafted 1 guy high, another guy late and then signed another in UDFA.

The end is nigh.

at 6'6" Durham has always intrigued me. Obviously he hasn't turned out to be much but man he is a nice size target.

As much as we run the ball a guy like that could be valuable.

If this thread is a sarcastic response to the absurdity of the talk about jones and tate being in camp, then this is my current favorite thread.

Outside of Dez, Williams and Beasley who does Dallas really have? I would not call this desperation I do think the Cowboys are bringing guys in to strengthen this area

Don't think it's desperate mode, many teams have try outs where they bring guys in, of those dudes maybe Durham be nice cause he knows offense, big red zone target.

This is an obvious Jab at T-Will.

Told you all, they are not comfortable with the Bum. He would be a great 4th WR option. As a number 2 he's a liability.
