Even when Romo returns next year with Dez Bryant and Lance Dunbar (note that Dunbar is a free agent), this offense needs a serious infusion of speed and talent. I do think we made a mistake re-signing Dez to all that money. I suggested earlier that he should be traded and I stick by that. When he doesn't produce the entire offense struggles.

I really think that Beasley can be a fine 3rd receiver, but he can only do so if the 2nd receiver is also quality.

Not sure if we need to make a bunch of changes on the offensive coaching staff, but I'm not enamored by the fact that they can't bring players along properly.

Wade Wilson absolutely should be fired.

Brice Butler should have been incorporated the whole season. McFadden should have started from day 1.

We do need to fix some things on defense, and the cost of doing so may even prevent us from re-signing Hardy. We need to completely retool the secondary and add a proper 1 technique. Hayden should not be on this team next year. We should not get confused however in thinking that the defense needs more help than the offense. It doesn't.

We should come out of this draft with a running back and a wide receiver in the first three picks. I would probably look to trade Terrance Williams.

Yea Williams needs to be traded. We need to revamp the coaching staff. If jerry Jones is serious he needs to make the move asap. If not.. Well hate to say it. Romos career will go down as wasted.

Speed receiver, a receiver with some sudden-ness desperately needed.

Beasley is slow and small, outside of that the Cowboys look for big , physical receivers. That is ok, but they need a speed guy, a change of direction guy.

They should be giving Lucky 1/3 of Beasley's reps...

Let's be honest we need another tight end as well. Witten will get his numbers but it's time for a real threat at that position. I've just about had enough of tip toeing, can't jump, tipped passes, false starts and running short of the 1st down Witten. He's a legend but his time is near.

Terrance's cap number is only 780k for next year and we'll have Tony and Dez back at 100%. How about we keep him, cut Street, and either sign a free agent with some speed and good hands, or grab one with a 1st day pick?

The WR corps is almost impossible to judge this year. The QB play has been terrible consistently, topped out at average outside of Romo. Dez, I'm beginning to think, was never right. Williams, I think, showed that he's a #2 but can't step up at all. Street is the one I'm fairly sure of, he seems slow with bad hands, that spells useless. Butler is an incomplete because we haven't seen enough. Beasley is a failure this year because I don't think the backups understood how to use him consistently. Witten is old and slow and still gets open consistently. the other TE aren't pass catching options in our offense really. The line is good over all, free could use an upgrade but I don't think he's terrible.

I'd prefer a free agent WR who can come in a contribute right away. Taking a rookie in the 2nd or 3rd round could lead to another season of having no true #2 WR.

I would love to get Sean Payton or Josh McDaniels here.

McDaniels is a non starter for me. He's the bozo who pushed for Denver to draft Tebow in the first round because he apparently valued culture and character over actual talent.

I just want to see a new playbook. I don't care if garrett is still the HC or not, I just need to see something different than what we have and what we've had since 07.

You mean 2008. The offense in 2007 was not the same as the rest of the Garrett era.

Second chances. That was his first HC run.

Clemson is usually good for a talented receiver, who's coming out this year and where are they projected to land? We need some speed

I guess. I mean, after Jim Johnson started pressing Terrell Owens in December 07, our OC really couldn't adjust.
