We will keep playing games, but the drop off from Murray to a rookie will be huge. To create a hole over money alone is pretty sketchy.

I dont think it will be as big as you think. There is a reason why this was the only season murray finished with out missing a game. This OL kept him healthy and it was a contract year. I'm scared to pay a guy like that. Once paid then every little pain becomes a major injury and they start missing games.

RWilliams was a second round pick and I thought RBs just fell out of the sky and into pro backfields.

We didn't draft him. We got him for nothing and give him a shot.

No good running backs don't just come from anywhere. I would love to have murray back but not going to over pay.

Well, there is nothing we can do about it. The Cowboys have drawn their line in the sand, and Murray looks like he is moving on. Now, the Cowboys have to decide how to approach the draft with obvious needs at RB and DE.

Didn't we try that with Randle and RWilliams

We didn't draft Williams. But that still doesn't change my comment. Murray isn't irreplacable, he just isn't. He had a great year. Time to move on. I'm glad that Jerry and company seem to be getting it and not signing people to bad contracts. Draft Murray's replacement it is just that simple.
