just start Weeden Sunday and vs. Jax. that's 3 whole weeks Romo can heal up

worst case scenario we're 6-4 coming out of the bye

Another problem with that is 3 weeks off could result in a rusty Romo with the Cowboys facing the toughest part of their schedule when he returns. If you go back to this summer Romo missed a number of practices and didn't see much preseason action. He wasn't sharp at all in the season opener vs SF and it resulted in his worst game this season.

I get where you're coming from but if the Cowboys lose tomorrow dropping to 6-3 and end up going into a slump and Romo returns rusty it could mark the beginning of the end for what has been a great and promising season for the Cowboys.

By the time Romo returns against the Giants the Cowboys will be entering the most difficult part of their schedule when they have to start playing some of their best football if they want to make the playoffs and outduel Philly for the division title.

Or play him and he might not return at all.

If he's not healthy and isn't moving well you don't play him or yes we might lose him for the season. Some are acting like the Cowboys have a playoff birth all wrapped up and want to sit Romo as long as it takes for him to be 100%. He may never be 100% this season and you can't just sit him against everyone who likes to blitz fearing further injury. The Cowboys were exposed on Monday Night and other teams are going to look at what the Commanders did so Romo is going to be facing more blitzing. The Cowboys need him in there if they're going to contend in Dec. This team isn't going to hang in very long with Weeden at QB.

So did Romo do walkthroughs today or not?

It was reported that he planned to not sure if he did. He hasn't practiced all week so doesn't appear it's looking like he'll play tomorrow. We'll have to see but can't imagine he'll be very sharp missing practice all week.
