The same defense that started the GB playoff game by allowing 3 scoring drives each over 70 yards, could hardly get a turnover all year and struggled to get pressure on opposing QB's? Once again when it counted in January, Rodgers beat us for the 2nd playoff game in a row due to the defense. Until that gets fixed, I am more than fine with the Cowboys offense being top 5 in scoring. That top 5 defense collapsed when it counted most.

The same offense that scored 3 points while Green Bay jumped out to an 18 point lead?

Three of the four teams with offenses that scored more than Dallas advanced to at least the conference championship game. Two went to the Super Bowl. The moral of the story is Dallas needs to improve on both sides of the ball and should make moves accordingly.

Twill is an interesting player. I really thought he wasn't a problem type of player, and a good locker room guy, but the recent comments about he was glad that Dak isn't a moody player really was an eye opener. That is obviously some sort of shot at Romo.

Either Williams isn't as go with the flow as he appears, or Romo is a much bigger diva than people think he is. I'm not really sure what to make of that.

It's not like I've ever picked up the pom-poms for Romo ,but in his defense, it's a certainty Tony's jumped knee deep in terrance's s**t in the huddle ,we all know Romo played many,many games injured and with his constant companion called PAIN in his back pocket, ya,I'm sure he could break bad like a bear with a sore *ss over lazy efforts while he's hanging his guts out on a fence post,,,,go figure?

McFadden still has tread on the tires. Bringing him back means we can keep only 3 RBs and one on the practice squad. I like that.

Don't be shocked if Dunbar is top priority as far as signings are concerned.

If that isn't enough to win, your defense needs improved.

If the offense doesn't suck to start, Green Bay doesn't have enough possessions to get to 34 points and the Cowboys do win with 31. It's a team game. The offense isn't infallible.

Adding Smith, Tapper and a couple early draft picks to the front 7 will do wonders for our defense THIS year.

I'm not saying we can't improve..

what I am saying is its going to take several years to really rebuild this defense into something that is going to influence games very positively.

In the meantime..the offense still needs alot of help.

As the season went on..defenses caught up to what DAK was doing and he was less effective down the stretch.

But we lacked some playmakers to take it to the next level.

Thats my point.

If you bring back basically the same defense and add two legitimate upgrades - not necessarily "War Daddies" - this is likely a top 10 unit. Add one upgrade on offense and we are the Super Bowl favorites.
